"Seeds" is exactly the type of episode we have been waiting for "Marvel's Agents of Shield" to deliver. Easily the best episode on the show since "Fzzt," the fast-moving episode introduces a new facet of Shield, resolves an aspect of Skye's mystery in an interesting way and launches a new supervillain.
It also made FitzSimmons the most popular kids at Shield Academy, which leads us to the realization that "Agents of Shield" is somehow at its best when it focuses on these two characters. Maybe it's the easy chemistry Elizabeth Henstridge and Iain De Caestecker have or maybe it's just that their characters are the most likeable, but these two episodes that have put them at the forefront have been our favorites.
The pair is summoned back to the Shield Academy -- sort of the Hogwarts for Shield newbies -- to investigate an incident where a mysterious object caused a pool to freeze almost instantaneously.

While we wait in anticipation to see what big screen film Nia Long will next star in, especially since giving birth to her child almost a year ago, here's something to keep you tied up, maybe. Target is releasing a three-episode online rom-com series titled Falling for You, which Nia Long co-stars in along with Kristen Bell and Zachary Abel, directed by Phil Abraham (an episodic TV director, who's helmed episodes of Mad Men and The Sopranos). Needless to say, it's really just a way for Target to get its products to consumers - specifically, while you're watching to series, the items you see in each scene will be shoppable throughout the film, as it plays....

Target is taking big strides into branded entertainment with the 12-minute short film "Falling Into You," which shows off more than 100 fall season fashion, home and beauty items, while starring the likes of Kristen Bell, Nia Long and Zachary Abel. The short is directed by regular "Mad Men" helmer Phil Abraham, and unspools in three parts. Part 1 releases online October 2. The film centers on two flirtatious Target employees (Bell and Abel), who compete with each other to create a campaign for the 2012 fall collection. As the episodes play, a sidebar of the featured items appears, which users can "heart" and share to social media sites. Parts 2 and 3 release October 4 and 9. Prestige narrative branded entertainment is becoming increasingly favored by major companies, as exemplified by the La Film Fest soft launch in June of Virgin Airlines' "Departure Date," starring Ben Feldman (also a "Mad Men" alum) and Janeane...

Vampire Diaries’ Malese Jow and Make It Or Break It’s Zachary Abel Land at CW
While every other pilot project had found its leading men and women, the CW’s drama pilot Shelter (from the minds of J.J. Abrams and Once Tree Hill creator Mark Schwahn) was still struggling to find the right man and woman to help bring this show to life. All worries can now be set aside. Zachary Able (Make It Or Break It) and Malese Jow (The Vampire Diaries) have both been cast. I bet the producers breathed a big sigh of relief when they finally made the decision to hire these two. To be the last pilot to find its leads seems like a stressful situation to be in. After all, you can’t film the show until you have stars!
Deadline confirmed the casting of Abel and Jow for the Warner Bros. TV produced pilot.

From executive producers Mark Schwahn and J.J. Abrams, the project centers on the staff and guests at an historic New England summer resort, Shelter Bay Inn. Plus, Adam tries to win Diana back! Do you think she should give him a second chance? If the Oct. 27 episode of The Secret Circle taught me anything, it's this: Never underestimate the power of a pretty blonde girl in a slutty bumblebee costume! When Luke (Zachary Abel) kidnapped the witches and tried to kill them, Cassie (Britt Robertson) tapped into her dark magic and lit the dude on fire. And as he went down in a blaze of glory, my love for Cassie Blake grew ten-fold. That girl is awesome. But Cassie's hardly the only Chance Harbor resident with a dark side. We got a more in-depth look at what Jake (Chris Zylka) is all about, and aside from his tastefully low-cut v-necks, I'm not a fan of his one bit. Besides the fact that he almost got the entire circle killed, I hate the way he plays with...

Awkward‘s Matty is kind of a question mark. It’s never obvious whether he’s going to be really sweet to sort-of girlfriend Jenna or completely ignore her in public. We don’t know much about his family. And he keeps secrets from his best friend. Luckily, Beau Mirchoff was able to shed some light on his character during a recent chat with TVLine.
The actor also previews this week’s new episode (airing Tuesday at 11/10c on MTV), the Matty/Jenna/Jake love triangle, and the introduction of his onscreen bro. Mirchoff even gave us the answer to Awkward‘s biggest mystery.

He’s set to guest on The CW’s new fall drama The Secret Circle as Billy, a young man who broke the heart of Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) — the most volatile of the six Chance Harbor High classmates who, we’ll learn in the Sept. 15 premiere, must bind their newfound magical powers to not only control them but also to protect themselves from a mysterious threat. Naturally, when Billy returns to town, Faye has revenge on her mind. And that should be fun.

We’ve got some fresh out of the oven The Secret Circle casting news for you; Zachary Abel (Make It or Break It) is guest starring as a good lucking jock (typical) named Luke. Now for a quick series summary! So Cassie (Britt Robertson) moves to Chance Harbor, Wash. and discovers she’s a witch. It’s her destiny to combine her powers with five other witches to increase their power (it’s like being on steroids). Sounds cool right? Now for the teen drama: Cassie finds herself being drawn to Adam (Thomas Dekker), but he has a girlfriend. That’s when Cassie meets Luke. He pops up in the third episode and asks her out. “I was watching the dailies [Friday], and I think he’s doing a really great job,” creator Kevin Williamson said. “So I’m very excited about that story.”

Today marks the release of the GLAAD Network Responsibility Index, charting Glbt representation on television. The CW wins in percentage of hours of representation at 33%, while ABC leads in total hours. The big jump was at ABC Family, which managed 55%. While the percentages remained nearly steady with last year, the big news was a jump in racial and gender diversity across the networks.

It never gets into the mindset of one of the characters who realizes what's going on, yet can't figure out a way to stop it or to get her friends to remember the other people who have been killed off.
