"Seeds" is exactly the type of episode we have been waiting for "Marvel's Agents of Shield" to deliver. Easily the best episode on the show since "Fzzt," the fast-moving episode introduces a new facet of Shield, resolves an aspect of Skye's mystery in an interesting way and launches a new supervillain.

It also made FitzSimmons the most popular kids at Shield Academy, which leads us to the realization that "Agents of Shield" is somehow at its best when it focuses on these two characters. Maybe it's the easy chemistry Elizabeth Henstridge and Iain De Caestecker have or maybe it's just that their characters are the most likeable, but these two episodes that have put them at the forefront have been our favorites.

The pair is summoned back to the Shield Academy -- sort of the Hogwarts for Shield newbies -- to investigate an incident where a mysterious object caused a pool to freeze almost instantaneously.

Missing "Marvel's Agents of Shield"? With only five days left until the show returns, ABC released a whole slew of new photos from the next two episodes in the Marvel series.

Episodes 11 and 12 introduce a bunch of new faces to the Marvel gang. In "The Magical Place" (which already marks the returns of Saffron Burrows' Victoria Hand and Ron Glass' Dr. Streiten) fans will meet a character named Vanchat who is played by "All My Children's" Aiden Turner. Meanwhile in "Seeds," newcomers include Christine Adams as Agent Anne Weaver, Dylan Minnette as Donnie Gill (aka Blizzard), Boyd Kestner as Richard Lumley, Maiara Walsh as Callie Hannigan, Daniel Zovatto as Seth Dormer and Zachary Burr Abel as Tad.

The villainous Ian Quinn returns to Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. alongside the debut of Donnie Gill, a name eagle-eyed Marvel fans may find familiar, in an all-new episode premiering Tuesday, January 14 on ABC.

In the Marvel Comics, Donnie Gill is the alias of the villain known as Blizzard, who wears a battle suit that contains cryogenic circuitry allowing its wearer to generate and focus intense cold. By manipulating this cold, Gill can create blasts of ice missiles and walls of ice, as well as form sleet, snow and freezing rain. He is the second person to wear the Blizzard suit after Gregor Shapanka.

While we wait in anticipation to see what big screen film Nia Long will next star in, especially since giving birth to her child almost a year ago, here's something to keep you tied up, maybe. Target is releasing a three-episode online rom-com series titled Falling for You, which Nia Long co-stars in along with Kristen Bell and Zachary Abel, directed by Phil Abraham (an episodic TV director, who's helmed episodes of Mad Men and The Sopranos). Needless to say, it's really just a way for Target to get its products to consumers - specifically, while you're watching to series, the items you see in each scene will be shoppable throughout the film, as it plays....

Target is taking big strides into branded entertainment with the 12-minute short film "Falling Into You," which shows off more than 100 fall season fashion, home and beauty items, while starring the likes of Kristen Bell, Nia Long and Zachary Abel. While every other pilot project had found its leading men and women, the CW’s drama pilot Shelter (from the minds of J.J. Abrams and Once Tree Hill creator Mark Schwahn) was still struggling to find the right man and woman to help bring this show to life. All worries can now be set aside. Zachary Able (Make It Or Break It) and Malese Jow (The Vampire Diaries) have both been cast. I bet the producers breathed a big sigh of relief when they finally made the decision to hire these two. To be the last pilot to find its leads seems like a stressful situation to be in. After all, you can’t film the show until you have stars!

Familiar faces to fans of Make It or Break It and The Vampire Diaries have been cast on one of the The CW's most anticipated pilots.

According to Deadline, Zachary Abel will play the lead on Shelter, an upcoming drama from Mark Schwahn and J.J. Abrams that focuses on life at an historic New England summer resort. The actor is set to portray Mitchell Taylor, a local baseball star-turned-concierge.

Malese Jow, meanwhile, will portray a party girl in town.

Jow joins Trent Ford on the series, who also recurred on The Vampire Diaries as Trevor.

TBS has pulled the plug on the ratings-challenged Lopez Tonight.

According to a network spokesman, the caber “has reached the difficult decision not to order a third season of Lopez Tonight. We are proud to have partnered with George Lopez, who is an immensely talented comedian and entertainer. TBS has valued its partnership with George and appreciates all of his work on behalf of the network, both on and off the air.”

This Thursday’s episode of Lopez Tonight will be its last.

"Make It or Break It" star Zachary Abel has landed a guest spot on the show, and while as of now it’s a one-episode appearance, you never know what might happen.

Per EW.com Abel (pictured, right) will first appear in Episode 3 as a hot jock named Luke, who will ask Cassie (Britt Robertson) out. Today marks the release of the GLAAD Network Responsibility Index, charting Glbt representation on television. The CW wins in percentage of hours of representation at 33%, while ABC leads in total hours. The big jump was at ABC Family, which managed 55%. While the percentages remained nearly steady with last year, the big news was a jump in racial and gender diversity across the networks.

2010 Teen Choice Awards has finally unraveled its final wave of nominees, disclosing that Taylor Lautner is among those collecting multiple nominations. Individually, the Jacob Black of the "Twilight Saga" series grabbed 7 nods in total. He got four of the noms for his movie roles, two for his fashion style and one for his smile.

18-year-old Lautner nailed two movie nominations along with co-star Taylor Swift for their ensemble movie "Valentine's Day", another one for "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" and the other for "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse". His "Twilight Saga" nominations helped the vampire drama series to lead the pack with 15 counts in total.

Following behind the "Twilight Saga" series in the nominations collection were Fox's hit series "Glee" and Disney star Miley Cyrus. "Glee" led the overall TV category nominations with 13 nods. It is in tie with Miley in terms of how many nominations it earned for this year's Teen Choice Awards.

A new wave of 2010 Teen Choice Awards nominations reveal more nods for ABC Family shows as well as "True Blood", "Wipeout" and "So You Think You Can Dance". This new nominations are prompted by thousands of requests and suggestions from fans to take the best of the best and put them into third and final round, all about the summer.

"The Secret Life of the American Teenager" which earned four previously, adds another four in this round. "Pretty Little Liars", due to its status as new summer show, finally gets a recognition in the categories of Choice Summer TV, Choice Summer TV Star Male and Female.

Meanwhile, "True Blood" star Anna Paquin gets her second nomination in Choice Summer TV Star: Female. Her co-star and real-life boyfriend Stephen Moyer is nominated in the Male category. In total, "True Blood" has four chances to win.

"The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" has racked up even more nominations for the upcoming awards show, airing Monday, Aug. 9 on Fox.

That brings "Eclipse" and "New Moon" to a combined 17 nominations total, with "Glee" and Miley Cyrus tying for second place with 13 nominations and then Taylor Lautner with 11 for third place. Take that, R-Patz!

Besides Miley Cyrus, her pocket-sized boyfriend Justin Bieber can also boast a nomination for choice summer music star. He'll be up against B.o.B., Taio Cruz, Drake and Eminem.

The hit one-hour drama series returns for its second season premiere. Danielle Panabaker has allegedly found a summer romance. Life & Style Magazine reported that the "Friday the 13th" actress was spotted cozying up with Zachary Abel, the actor who stars as Carter Anderson on "Make It or Break It", on Friday, June 4 at the Muscle Milk Fitness Retreat in Beverly Hills.

"Zach was by Danielle's side the whole time," a source told the publication. "She was on crutches because she broke a toe, and he even held her bag for her so it was easier for her to get around." On the heels of hitting series highs in viewership, ABC Family has decided to renew Make It or Break It for a second season.

Make It or Break It revolves around the high-stakes world of competitive gymnastics. It stars Chelsea Hobbs, Ayla Kell, Josie Loren, Cassie Scerbo, Zachary Burr Abel, Peri Gilpin, Candace Cameron Bure, and Susan Ward.

The recent mid-season premiere of Make It or Break It garnered highs in total viewers, adults 18-49, women 18-49, viewers 12-34, females 12-34, teens and female teens.

Make It or Break It's first season of 20 episodes is expected to finish airing in March. The show will return for season two this summer.

Fans of ABC Family's series "Make It or Break It" will have a chance to catch up on the entire season filled with drama, dismounts and deceptions followed by the mid-season finale.

On Monday, August 24, the all day marathon will begin at 11:00 am and will wrap up at 8:00 pm, with the mid-season finale to follow at 9:00 pm Et. In the finale episode "All That Glitters," the girls will head to Boston to compete for a spot on the National Gymnastics team.
