Jed began his education at the University of New Orleans in the theater department immediately raising eyebrows when he landed a lead in his very first audition for a production called "Wall of Crispian", where he played a troubled war in Vietnam soldier that survived his company being devastated. This led to an attendance at the Southeastern Theatre Competition and Irene Ryan competition. Jed began his journey behind the camera into the film industry with an internship with a local production company that ultimately led to him working as a production PA on "Runaway Jury". From there, he got his first taste of props on "Ray", and he continued his work through the art department over the years until his first union propmaster gig on "The Runner". He has always enjoyed the creative process, working with actors and directors alike, and forged a solid career as a Propmaster. He also co-hosts a podcast with other colleagues from the industry called "The Film Folk Lore Podcast", where they explore the behind the scenes of the entertainment industry from a crew perspective. He spends his time between work in New Orleans and travel.
