Tony Knoss

Discovering a natural ability and passion for production in the cable access playground of suburban Minneapolis, a lifelong career began before learning to drive. The subsequent four decades revealed an accomplished, award-winning producer, writer, cinematographer, and editor. By age twenty-one, two independently produced broadcast television series were delivered, marking the commencement of a prolific career in production.

Recognized with forty-six awards and nominations, including seven regional Emmy Awards and three Edward R. Murrow Awards, this organic creative passion fueled the drive to master every aspect of production. Born and raised in suburban Minnesota, early years were spent in the same St. Louis Park neighborhoods that nurtured talents like Al Franken and the Coen Brothers.

Professional experience includes collaborations on various projects with notable Minnesotans such as Pat Proft and Bob Mould, and even a small role in Prince's feature concert film "Sign o' the Times." Earning a stable living as an independent producer, editor, and writer with a consistent stream of projects, personal and professional creativity continue to evolve in parallel, attaining new levels of advanced skill, creative expression, and technical experimentation.
