- Additional Crew
Kailee Stevenson had always known that she was destined for great things. As a child growing up in Syracuse, New York, she spent most of her free time watching movies and dreaming of one day becoming a filmmaker herself.
Before she was walking, Kailee entered her first pageant. Although she didn't win the title she did win Most Photogenic, she quickly realized that she loved being in front of the camera. As she got older, she started taking acting classes and auditioning for local theater productions.
It was during one of these auditions that Kailee had her first encounter with a director. She was nervous at first, but the director quickly put her at ease and gave her some valuable advice. "Always be on time," he told her. "And never forget that the pre-production and post-production side of things are just as important as what happens on set."
These words stuck with Kailee, and she soon found herself gravitating towards the behind-the-scenes world of filmmaking. She started working as a production assistant on local film shoots, and before she knew it, she was co-directing feature films.
Despite her success, Kailee knew that she still had a lot to learn. She also started writing her own scripts, determined to create the kind of films that she wanted to see.
Today, Kailee is a successful director, cinematographer, and writer. She still works part-time as a school photographer, but her true passion lies in the world of filmmaking. She's worked with some incredible people over the years, but she's still holding out hope that she'll one day get to collaborate with some of her all-time favorites, including Sandra Bullock, Adam Sandler, Jennifer Lawrence, and Jennifer Aniston.
Despite the challenges that come with working in such a competitive industry, Kailee remains focused on her goals. She knows that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible. A quote right from her "if you have yourself, you can have anything"
