She had initially imagined herself as a stewardess. She joined Nasa Entertainment and worked as a club hostess in Tokyo. She is later represented by Asche. Yuri has half a dozen photo books to her name, done stage work and appeared in numerous magazines. She married Murakami Naoya in June 2017 and ceased her gravure work.
