Biography

    • Jadon Cal is a multi-hyphenate filmmaker and actor whose path through the industry blends early DIY roots with a growing slate of acclaimed projects. Raised in Los Angeles by veteran actor parents, he began performing at a young age and transitioned into filmmaking straight out of high school. His early work-scrappy, personal, and hands-on-laid the foundation for a career that now spans both studio and independent features, including collaborations with notable talent such as Joey King, Mira Sorvino, Lee Majors, Danielle Harris, and Aleksa Palladino.

As an actor, Jadon is drawn to roles that demand transformation-fully immersing himself in characters until he disappears into them. He recently brought that intensity to Florida Wild, playing a Doc Holliday-inspired drifter in a stylized Southern Drama. His lead performance in Robbie Ain't Right No More (2023) opposite Madeleine McGraw premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, earning him multiple awards and national recognition on the festival circuit.

Behind the camera, Jadon continues to develop bold, character-driven stories. His latest film Off Rip (2025) (which he wrote, directed, and stars in) won Best Florida Feature Film at the 2025 Gasparilla International Film Festival and has received glowing early reviews on IMDb, with audiences praising its ambition, emotional edge, and standout performances.

With his next feature Skippin' Town in development, Jadon is raising the bar yet again. Each new project marks a step forward in scope, nuance, and cinematic craft. As both an actor and filmmaker, he's carving out a space defined by bold choices, evolving artistry, and an unwavering commitment to telling stories that hit on a visceral level.
