Michelle P Griffith

Michelle Griffith is an award-winning Writer, Producer and Editor. The first in her family to enter the entertainment business, there was no nepotistic doors being opened. She had to create her own opportunities and began her career after college, crafting a job from an internship at a feature production company. Quickly becoming indispensable, she served as the assistant to two Producers and performed script analysis and coverage for the Executive Story Editor. In addition, Michelle was trained as the Post Production Accountant on an $8MM feature the company produced in association with Orion Pictures. She was solely responsible for cost projections to Orion for completing the picture. After three years at that post, Michelle co-founded her own production company, Iron Image Media, producing award-winning broadcast TV commercials for a variety of clients, including Fortune 500 companies. Shortly thereafter, she expanded the company's project base, producing and editing award-winning feature documentaries. The company also created entertainment marketing campaigns, creating trailers, teasers, and print for studios and independents. The 2000's saw a further expansion to include web series and TV and film projects. Michelle co-authored her first book, a non-fiction work published in 2013, which is a follow-up to a best-seller. She is currently in development on it as a feature. Michelle graduated from Loyola Marymount University with her undergraduate degree in Communications and continued her film education at USC and UCLA. She lives in Ventura County and enjoys hiking and biking with her husband, Marc, and their three children, her most prized projects.
