The series, which launched in 2020, follows Jackie Quiñonez’s (Monica Raymund) daily struggle to stay sober while taking on the opioid crisis that is sweeping Cape Cod. Season 2 picked up with Jackie, who sets out to prove herself as a cop and avenge the death of her best friend, Junior (Shane Harper). All the while, the town faces a new deadly drug called Great White.

Garret Dillahunt is among a slew of new faces to populate Starz’s Hightown in Season 3.

Dillahunt, whose previous TV credits include (but are far from limited to!) Justified and Fear the Walking Dead, is set to recur on the Cape Cod crime drama as Shane Frawley, a charismatic and charming gangster from South Boston, our sister site Deadline reports.

Exclusive: Garret Dillahunt (Army of the Dead), Jeanine Serralles (Utopia), Kaya Rosenthal (The Time Traveler’s Wife), Michael Drayer (Mr. Robot), newcomer Ellie Barone and Taja V. Simpson (The Oval) have signed on for recurring roles in the third season of Starz’s crime drama, Hightown.

Created by Rebecca Cutter (Gotham), Hightown is set in the beautiful but bleak world of Cape Cod, watching as Jackie Quiñone’s (Monica Raymund) journey to sobriety is overshadowed by a murder investigation dragging her into its fold. Netflix has debuted a brand new trailer for the upcoming suspenseful psychological thriller from filmmaker Joe Wright, ‘The Woman in the Window’.

Based on the gripping, best-selling novel and adapted by Tracy Letts, the film follows Anna Fox, played by Amy Adams, an agoraphobic child psychologist who finds herself keeping tabs on the picture-perfect family across the street through the windows of her New York City brownstone. Her life is turned upside down when she inadvertently witnesses a brutal crime.

Amazon has released the trailer for their upcoming Utopia series. Writer and executive producer Gillian Flynn appeared with series stars John Cusack, Rainn Wilson, Sasha Lane, Ashleigh Lathrop, Dan Byrd, Desmin Borges, Javon "Wanna" Walton, and Jessica Rothe for a Comic-Con@Home panel moderated by Entertainment Weekly's Christian Holub today. Breaking Glass Pictures has debuted an official trailer for an indie comedy titled Cubby, the "eccentric, lovable Lgbtq" feature directorial debut of filmmakers Mark Blane & Ben Mankoff. Mark Blane also wrote the script and stars in the film as a guy named Mark. This kinky, quirky, heartfelt film is about a guy from the Midwest who moves to New York City and ends up creating "Leather-Man", an alternative superhero identity that helps him to learn about discipline and control. Of course. The indie cast includes Patricia Richardson, John Duff, Joseph Seuffert, Rodney Richardson, Matthew Shear, Lucy DeVito, Christian Patrick, Naian Gonzalez Norvind, Peter Y. Kim, Zachary Booth, and Jeanine Serralles. The film will next screen at Outfest this month, and open in theaters later in the fall. Everyone knows gay entertainment fiends love a character actress, and it turns out the feeling is mutual. Molly Shannon earned an Independent Spirit Award for playing the dying mother to a gay son in “Other People,” longtime Lgbt activist Kathy Najimy graced the “BearCity” trilogy with her presence, and now Patricia Richardson is following suit. The former “Home Improvement” star is lending her talents to “Cubby,” a quirky coming-of-age comedy about a gay man whose best friend is the 6-year-old boy he nannies.

“Cubby” boasts David France (“How to Survive a Plague”) and Henry van Ameringen (“Love Is Strange”) as executive producers, and premieres at Outfest Los Angeles this weekend. IndieWire debuts the exclusive trailer below.

Jeanine Serralles (Hot Summer Nights) is set as a series regular opposite John Cusack, Rainn Wilson and Sasha Lane in Utopia, Amazon’s straight-to-series adaptation of the British drama, written by Gone Girl author and screenwriter Gillian Flynn.

Utopia follows a group of young adults who meet online that are mercilessly hunted by a shadowy deep state organization after they come into possession of a near-mythical cult underground graphic novel. Within the comic’s pages, they discover the conspiracy theories that actually might be real and are forced into the dangerous, unique and ironic position of saving the world.

Serralles will play Colleen. A cheerful, self-possessed mortgage broker who encourages her scientist husband, Michael Stearns (Wilson), to step forward and assert himself in the midst of a national health crisis. Having found each other later in life, Colleen is her husband’s biggest cheerleader and confidence booster.

These Birds of Prey audition videos might give us some new clues as to a few of the most significant characters who’ll be appearing in the movie. Actress Jeanine Serralles (known for the likes of Inside Llewyn Davies and Persons of Interest) shared her audition for part of “Lopez” on Vimeo. Obviously a codename, this individual seems to be a tough, inquisitive cop, which indicates she’s actually Renee Montoya, who was previously reported to be featuring in the DC all-female team-up pic.

The script Serralles is performing, meanwhile, sees “Lopez” investigating a new assassin on the streets who uses a crossbow. This has to be Helena Bertinelli Aka Huntress, a long-standing member of the Birds of Prey in the comics and another character strongly linked to this version of the group.

The long-in-gestation remake of Channel 4's dark drama series, Utopia, is finally heading to Amazon Prime Video.

Amazon is conjuring a U.S. remake of the popular U.K. TV series, Utopia, adapting a story centered around a group of young-ish people who are hunted by a shadowy organization after they manage to get hold of a once-thought-mythical graphic novel which details all manner of conspiracies that turn out to be disturbingly true.

After a previously-mooted HBO version from David Fincher fell apart in 2015, Amazon would make the April 2018 announcement of a pickup for a 9-episode first season for Utopia, with Gillian Flynn pulling the strings as writer and executive producer, and it looks like we might finally get some resolution to the story, which was left hanging on the original 2013-2014 U.K. Channel 4 series after two short seasons of Dennis Kelly's creation.
