SeriesFest, the event held in Denver, Colorado, has unveiled its latest pilot competition lineup.

The event, which runs April 29 to May 4, has revealed its Independent Pilot Competition, which features projects across drama, comedy, unscripted digital shorts and late-night.

This year’s crop features titles that star the likes of Mary Steenburgen, Harvey Guillén, Omar Epps, Ann-Margret, Roy Wood Jr., Shari Belafonte, Michael Kosta and Eric Roberts.

Fans who tune in to Clarkson’s show on Thursday and Friday will find model Molly Sims in the role of substitute host.

Sims is one of several celebs who has stepped in for Kelly in recent weeks, with Simu Liu, Roy Wood Jr., Wanda Sykes, Josh Groban, Brooke Shields, and Willie Geist all helping out by taking the reins.

And concerns about Kelly’s whereabouts are compounded by the fact that she hasn’t posted on social media since February 17.

It’s enough to leave the singer’s fans searching for answers.

Kelly Clarkson is expected to resume taping March 13 on her eponymous talk show after an unexplained absence left fans wondering where their favorite singer-host had gone.

Clarkson missed the March 3 taping of The Kelly Clarkson Show and was replaced by guest host Simu Liu at the last minute. She returned two days later but ducked out yet again, with several celebrities stepping in to take her place. Among those who have temporarily assumed the gig include Roy Wood Jr, Wanda Sykes and Brooke Shields.

Willie Geist from Today was brought in to host the March 12 installment, while Molly Sims took over for the March 13 and 14 episodes, according to People. Sims’ guests will include Patrick Schwarzenegger, Bryan Greenberg, Amanda Seyfried and Nicholas Pinnock.

Deadline understands that Clarkson’s absence was due to a private matter. A spokesperson for NBCUniversal, which produces the Manhattan-based talk show, declined to comment.

Kumail Nanjiani is returning to the stand-up stage, and bringing Hulu with him.

The Emmy- and Oscar-nominated actor and writer is joining the Disney-owned streamer’s lineup of comedy specials. The special will be the second of his career — and the first in more than a decade. His inaugural special, Beta Male, aired on Comedy Central in 2013.

Since then, Nanjiani has worked regularly as an actor in HBO’s Silicon Valley and Hulu’s Welcome to Chippendales and feature films The Big Sick — for which he and Emily V. Gordon earned Oscar nominations for writing — The Lovebirds and Eternals, among others. He also hosted Comedy Central’s stand-up showcase The Meltdown With Jonah and Kumail from 2014-16.

Nanjiani will also be an executive producer of the Hulu special alongside Elan Gale and Bernie Schaeffer. ITV American and TheYearOfElan are producing. A date and title for the special will be announced later.

Awards-watchers are accustomed to waiting for the end of every awards show to see the big film categories handed out, but Saturday’s Writers Guild Awards threw everybody for a loop by making the film awards the first two categories of the night in simultaneous ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York.

“Nickel Boys” won the first award of the night, for Best Adapted Screenplay, and “Anora” won the second, for Best Original Screenplay. The awards led off the shows because the BAFTA Awards are taking place in London on Sunday, with the categories’ early placement giving “Nickel Boys” writers RaMell Ross and Joslyn Barnes and “Anora” writer Sean Baker more time to get to London.

In the television categories that ended the show, “Shōgun” and “Hacks” continued the roll they’ve been on since last September’s Emmy Awards, with the former show winning three awards and the latter show winning two.

“Shōgun” dominated with three wins at the Writers Guild Awards on Saturday evening — including best drama, while “Hacks” scored two on the TV side, including best comedy. In film, “Anora” and “Nickel Boys” scored big wins, giving both entries a bit more momentum as Oscar voting ends on Tuesday. “Anora,” coming off Critics Choice, DGA and PGA wins for best picture last weekend, picked up the original screenplay prize for Sean Baker. “Nickel Boys,” which has two Oscar noms, won the WGA award for RaMell Ross and Joslyn Barnes.

“Shōgun” was the night’s big winner, picking up prizes for best drama, best new series and best drama episode. On the comedy side, “Hacks” also scored a double play, landing best comedy and best comedy episode. In the limited field, “The Penguin” scored the series win.

Meanwhile, it was the first WGA noms and wins for Baker, Ross and Barnes.

Sean Baker’s Anora, written by Baker, and Nickel Boys, written by RaMell Ross and Joslyn Barnes, took the top film prizes at the 77th annual Writers Guild Awards tonight, for Original Screenplay and Adapted Screenplay, respectively. Titled “It’s Just Unfortunate,” the stand-up hour sees the Brooklyn-born comic riffing on his three Puerto Rican kids, his 13-year-old stepson and his dad’s rudimentary understanding of Latin culture (“They throw the parties for the girls at 15 — they call them Quesadillas”).

The actor and producer recounted the long process of finding financing for the Black-led project from director Rachael Holder and writer Paul Zimmerman, sharing in TheWrap’s Sundance Studio presented by World Hyatt that “we knocked on all the doors and did all the pitches,” but nothing was sticking.

“We had this script and were out to all the places that everyone goes to to get financing,” Holland told TheWrap executive editor Adam Chitwood. “People just, I think, didn’t share the vision. They didn’t quite see the value, but that’s often the case.”

Holland said it wasn’t until he chatted with his former “The Knick” director, Steven Soderbergh, who soon signed on as an executive producer, that things got moving with production for the film.

Comedian Roy Wood Jr. will host the 77th Annual Writers Guild Awards’ East Coast segment, at New York’s Edison Ballroom on Saturday, Feb. 15, the org announced Thursday.

Wood is currently the host of CNN’s satire news program “Have I Got News for You” and previously starred in the WGA Award-nominated series “Command Z.” “It’s an honor to return to host this celebration of the people who truly are the red blood cells of this industry,” said Wood in a statement. “We will plan a wonderful evening and eagerly await notes from the studio executives.”
