Focus Features has released the first trailer and two new posters for the upcoming drama The Book of Henry, which is set for release on June 16, 2017. A pair of clueless boys get some much needed wisdom over the summer with the first trailer, poster and photos for Staten Island Summer, courtesy of Yahoo! Movies. The upcoming comedy, which debuts on Netflix July 31, features a slew of both current and former Saturday Night Live stars, such as Fred Armisen, Bobby Moynihan, Will Forte, Cecily Strong and Kate McKinnon, although they merely have cameo roles. The script was written by SNL's Weekend Update co-host Colin Jost, with Lorne Michaels serving as executive producer.

The story centers on two boys played by Graham Phillips and Zack Pearlman, best friends and recent high school graduates who get jobs as lifeguards during the summer as they try to figure out what to do with the rest of their lives. The plot is inspired by Colin Jost's own personal experiences. Netflix picked up the comedy movie last month.

Netflix is closing a deal with Paramount Insurge for the comedy film "Staten Island Summer" to debut exclusively on the popular streaming service on July 30th.

A bunch of "Saturday Night Live" people are involved in the indie film which Lorne Michaels and John Goldwyn produced and SNL vet Rhys Thomas helmed from a script by 'Weekend Update' anchor Colin Jost.

In documentary circles (the haughty, wine-sipping ones that invariably form in the foyers of west London arthouse cinemas) 2013 was hailed as something of a banner year for movies that blended fact and fiction to strange new effect. Stories We Tell illustrated the family history of director Sarah Polley with a blend of real and fabricated archive footage; The Act Of Killing caused outrage in certain quarters by offering an Indonesian mass-murderer the chance to re-enact his crimes; and Bad Grandpa became the first narrative feature to include a documentary flashback sequence in which its protagonist sucks off an anthropomorphic fish. MTV has announced the nominees for the 2014 MTV Movie Awards.

American Hustle and The Wolf of Wall Street lead this year's nominations with eight nods each.

This year's Oscars Best Picture winner 12 Years a Slave will go up against American Hustle, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and The Wolf of Wall Street in the Movie of the Year category.

Matthew McConaughey will battle Bradley Cooper, Josh Hutcherson, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Leonardo DiCaprio in the Best Male Performance category.

In the Best Female Performance category, Jennifer Lawrence is up against Lupita Nyong'o, Sandra Bullock, Amy Adams and Jennifer Aniston.

Elsewhere, Aniston is nominated for Best Shirtless Performance alongside Zac Efron, Chris Hemsworth, Sam Claflin and DiCaprio.

Conan O'Brien will host this year's ceremony, which will air live on April 13 at 9pm from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

So will the Oscar for best makeup and hairstyling go to Stephen Prouty for his impressive transformation of Johnny Knoxville's hysterical and horny 86-year-old Irving Zisman in "Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa"? It's certainly a triumph of old school craft, which required a complete re-imagining to believably pull it off and provide Knoxville with better flexibility for his comedic turn. Prouty and his makeup team went on the road like Irving and grandson Billy (Jackson Nicoll) in the movie. Unlike the previous "Jackass" movies, though, they streamlined the original sculpture so Knoxville could be more expressive.  The demands of the movie also required an upgrade from foam latex to silicone and the makeup team went out of its way to streamline the pieces so they were softer and thinner and had more natural movement. For a 10-piece silicone prosthetic make-up job (including faux genitals) with hairpieces, the makeup team had it down to under.

Johnny Knoxville returns in the fourth big screen Jackass movie to date, Bad Grandpa. Bringing back his elderly character Irving Zisman, the caper is the first in the series to use an actual narrative, and was one of the most successful comedies at the box office in 2013.

1. The storyline actually works

Any concerns over whether a story could be used in a Jackass film are quickly thrown out within the opening minutes of the movie. The story elements are filmed in the usual Jackass style and it keeps up a simple, yet decent plot throughout.

2. Real reactions remain

Pretty much all of the film's scenes are played out in front of unsuspecting members of the public, with the usual awesomely funny Jackass-style results.

When Ryan Dunn passed away, it meant there was a hole in the heart of the Jackass crew, and likely spelled the end of the group’s feature film work. To sidestep that tragedy, Johnny Knoxville took a character from those shows and movies and spun it off into a feature film: Irving Zisman, the dirty old man who once bellowed he was Lon Chaney’s lover. Zisman is the focus of the move Bad Grandpa, and here the Jackass group are working within the confines of a narrative feature (which makes it feel similar to the Sacha Baron Cohen films), but get great results. When the 86th Annual Academy Awards nominations were announced today, Hollywood heavyweights such as Tom Hanks and Oprah Winfrey were among the notable snubs, as they failed to earn nods for their performances in Captain Phillips and Lee Daniels' the Butler. However, one of the more surprising nominees this morning was Stephen Prouty for Best Makeup and Hairstyling in the raucous comedy Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa, where the 42-year-old Johnny Knoxville was convincingly transformed into the 86-year-old Irving Zisman. To celebrate this prestigious honor, Paramount Home Media Distribution has provided us with a behind-the-scenes featurette from the upcoming Blu-ray release on January 28, that centers on the makeup process Johnny Knoxville had to go through each day, and also features interviews with Johnny Knoxville and the director. Plus, we also have quotes from Johnny Knoxville and makeup artist/Oscar nominee Stephen Prouty who share their thoughts about today's big news.

Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa was one of last year's big surprise hits, coming out of nowhere to dominate the box office. On its way to over $100 million, the comedy is coming home on Blu-ray January 28th. To usher in the release, we caught up with director Jeff Tremaine, the master chef behind all of the Jackass movies. He let us in on the making of the film itself, some of the challenges it posed and where they plan to go in the future.

Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa is interesting in that it takes a different approach than past films in the Jackass franchise. It sets up a clear narrative, with Johnny Knoxville never breaking character as the 86 year-old Irving Zisman, though most of the interactions seen in the film between him, his on-screen grandson Billy (played by the greatest child actor of his time Jackson Nicoll) and the people around them are completely real.

If you missed Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa in theaters, you're in luck because the comedy is coming to home video in an uncut version. Everyone’s heard of the Jackass movies even if they haven’t seen them. Movies where people with an extremely high pain threshold put their minds and bodies to the test in various dares and pranks. These movies have been put to the test in the public’s eye as an interactive form of movie watching where the main characters (in what could almost be considered a documentary style) play pranks on the public and on each other and, so far, the films have been welcomed into society.

Bad Grandpa, the story of 85 year old Irving Zisman (Johnny Knoxville), a man whose wife just died, has been just as well received in the past few weeks as a new kind of Jackass movie…...

Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa opens in Mexico until next week (11/29) but Johnny Knoxville already visited the city to support the release. Together with director Jeff Tremaine, producer Derek Freda and co-star Jackson Nicoll, Knoxville met with the press for a short conference and, actually, leaved all the crazy fun for another time. There was no bad grandpa makeup or anything weird, just a regular 18-minute talk with Knoxville and Tremaine as protagonists. The science fiction drama Ender's Game has topped the Us box office.

Harrison Ford's latest movie attracted considerable controversy ahead its of release due to the original Ender's Game author Orson Scott Card's anti-gay comments, but still managed to earn $28m in its debut.

Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa finished in second position with $20.5m, after dominating the competition last weekend.

Johnny Knoxville jokingly revealed to Digital Spy that it wasn't easy filming the movie because he was constantly hit by co-star Jackson Nicoll.

The comedy Last Vegas - which stars Robert De Niro and Morgan Freeman - and the animated film Free Birds charted in third and fourth place respectively in their first weekend of release.

The Sandra Bullock-starring Gravity continued its strong run at the Us box office by rounding out the top five.

The Johnny Knoxville hidden camera comedy film debuted at number one with $32m, while Gravity slipped to second place with $20.3m.

Sandra Bullock's Gravity was the film to beat this weekend as it has remained in the number one spot for three weeks in a row since breaking box office records on its debut weekend earlier this month. Its total gross is now $199.8.

It’s no secret that Jackass isn’t exactly the spry fountain of reckless, ball-busting youth that it used to be, and I’m not sure if that’s anybody’s fault. With three mainline films now under its belt, cast members all in their late thirties and early forties, and both a recovered addict and a tragically deceased comrade among their ranks, the Jackass crew has been through a lot, and personally I just don’t know if they have another traditional Jackass-style movie in them. Of course, I’d love to be proven wrong down the road, but until then, at least we have Jackass ringleader (and arguably most fearless stuntman) Johnny Knoxville to dress up as a dirty geezer and stick his junk in a vending machine.

Scoring a lofty $1.4 million premiering in North American theaters on Thursday night (October 24), Paramount and MTV Films' Jackass Presents: "Bad Grandpa" is already earning more money than fans and critics originally thought.

Paramount mentioned that "Bad Grandpa" is a "Jackass" spinoff, predicting the the movie's profit would score in the $20 million-plus range, which was considered well below the last two Jackass films. Others have stated that it could approach $30 million, considering the appeal of the prank-and-punk franchise.

After staying at No. 1 for three weeks, Warner Bros.' Gravity slipped to No. 2, falling 32 percent to $20.3 million.
