It's been more than a decade since the 1990s ended, yet the Internet can't seem to go a day without a reminder of the neon slap bracelets that may have been banned from your school.
Yes, we get it. Times are tough and there's comfort in reflection, but enough is enough.

Scott Foley is joining the cast of the ABC hit Scandal.
According to TVLine, the 40-year-old former Felicity star has landed a major arc that will air toward the end of this second season. Any guesses on who he will play?
He was most recently seen on Shonda Rhimes' other hit show Grey's Anatomy. "We're so in love with Scott Foley," she told the site. "And we would’ve kept him [on Grey's] if we could."
Will you be watching Noel Scott on Scandal this season?
Ps. Can we take a look back at the amazingness that was Scott's brief but brilliant stint as Cliff Elliot on Dawson's Creek? I mean, Savage Garden was involved, people. And really, really awkward dancing. (Oh, 1998.)...

Morning Meme: Melissa McCarthy Is Divine, "Kadaffi Goes Hollywood," and Take a Trip to "Bear City 2"
Savage Garden's out Darren Hayes says "I don’t want to be a gay or a straight artist. I don’t make gay records - I make records. I don't want to feel like I have to be a poster child for anything other than being a great artist. I don’t take that on board as being my responsibility as a gay man, because I think it’s really limiting.” I do understand what he's saying, and he is out, and he's married. That satisfies the "visible" request from Rick Mercer yesterday, but somehow saying this seems counterproductive to kids who need to see someone like themselves.
FX has picked up Charlie Sheen's Anger Management sitcom for 10 episodes. But in a bold move, they're committed to a full 100 episodes if it hits a certain ratings target. Making a long-term commitment to Charlie Sheen's employability takes big brass ones.

Darren Hayes, the former front man for pop group Savage Garden, has contributed a video to the It Gets Better project to encourage struggling Lgbt youths to maintain hope for a brighter future. In the video, part of the project created by columnist Dan Savage, Hayes talks about being tormented at school so badly as a teenager that he felt reluctant to attend classes. He contrasts that period in his life with the success he found in the arts, and the happiness he enjoys today with his civil partner of five years, Richard.Watch the video.

Michael Bolton got voted off Dancing With the Stars the other night. I know, tragedy. But he’s being a little petty about a comment from out judge Bruno Tonioli, who called Bolton’s jive the worst he’d seen in eleven seasons. Bolton wants an apology, but the producers say it would be silly of them to force an apology from a judge for being judgmental. Plus, could you imagine what Simon Cowell would have do if this were precedent?
I’ve never paid a lot of attention to Dave Navarro, at least not after Rockstar: Inxs. But he seems like a good guy – he supports PETA, and he’s written an open letter to gay, bi and transgender teens that shows him to be fond of humans as well as animals. Count me in as a fan of the man, Dave Navarro.

Tuesday night's (April 20) "American Idol" featured the Top Seven tackling "inspirational" songs in honor of "Idol Gives Back," that time of the season when Ryan Seacrest gets to say things like, "When you cast a vote you save lives!" and pat the "Idol" corporate sponsors on the back for donating money to charity.

Only ten celebs left on Dancing On Ice to show us how good – or bad – they’ve become at skating since the series started. Torvill and Dean work their usual magic to a version of Use Somebody sung by Pixie Lott. It’s almost unfair having two champions come along and set a high standard of skating, then throwing the unfortunate and often uncoordinated celebrities on to follow them. But we love it.
Tonight’s required element is a ‘pair spin’ where both skaters revolve on the ice – they must do two revolutions with one leg raised, which looks like an elegant move, if it can be done correctly! Phillip Schofield introduces the judges – making a subtle reference to the tabloid storm that Jason Gardiner caused last week when he likened Olympic swimmer Sharon Davies to fecal matter. All eyes will be on the white-toothed one to see if he repeats that performance tonight,...

Dye your hair with Kool-Aid and start joking about cutting, because 30-second snippets of Allison Iraheta's major label debut Just Like You have hit the web. Everybody knows I was less-than-thrilled with the super-poppy, heavily-processed vocals of Iraheta's Max Martin-produced single "Friday I'll Be Over U." But will the rest of her album make me happy? Let's go through these too-short snippets and see.
» "Friday I'll Be Over U"
This.
» "Robot Love"
In this pulsating electro-pop ditty (which samples Gary Glitter's "Rock and Roll Part II"), Iraheta is pissed that her boyfriend is in love with a robot. Whether said robot is an actual lady cyborg or just an iPhone is to be determined. Also Tbd? Whether this song will have a discernible melody. We're on track two and I'm already thinking "filler?" Ruh-roh.
» "Just Like You"
Good news: I'm finally hearing Allison's voice without a bunch of studio trickery around it.

Darren Hayes has blasted the mainstream media for "dumbing down" being gay. The former Savage Garden singer, who married partner Richard Cullen three years ago, insisted that too much emphasis is placed on sexual stereotypes. "I have a whole issue about mainstream pop and certainly television culture, and how damaging that is in terms of dumbing down being gay," he told Gay Times. "All those clichés about being gay I think are really limiting whereas in reality it's just a trait, it's like eye colour or hair colour, it's a physical trait. "Being gay is somehow an indulgent choice? It infuriates (more)...

Delta Goodrem and fiance, Brian McFadden have postponed their marriage. They claimed that they needed to reschedule their Christmas wedding this year due to their increased work commitments. "We were sitting down to try and organise the wedding and we were thinking 'we're never going to get this wedding organised by Christmas'," McFadden said.
"I know if we don't get married, everyone is going to say there are problems because we pushed the wedding back," the former Westlife member explained. He added, "But we want to get married and take a nice block of time off, like three months, enjoy our families being there and have a nice honeymoon ... not get married between gigs."
