Avi is a filmmaker who has worked with A24, SpringHill Entertainment, The Story House, Star Thrower Entertainment, and Mandalay Pictures, among others. His work has received top honors from competitions including The Academy Nicholl Fellowship, Austin Film Festival, Creative World Awards, and The Finish Line Script Competition. Avi has directed multiple award-winning short films, an independent pilot distributed by Revry, and edited several feature films. He holds a Bachelor's from Tulane University's Freeman School of Business and a Master's from USC's School of Cinematic Arts, where he now teaches Editing and Screenwriting.
