Ever since Spider-Man: No Way Home shattered expectations by reuniting three different versions of Peter Parker on the big screen, all eyes have been set on Spider-Man 4 to raise the bar yet again, and with good reason. The upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie will be released after the events of Avengers: Doomsday and will be helmed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton. Audiences are eager to learn what this new era in the wall crawler's saga will look like and who Peter will face next. Fortunately, we might have some much-needed answers.

A new report by reliable insider Daniel Richtman states that Sony has offered the main villain role of Spider-Man 4 to an unnamed major star. While this wouldn't seem like groundbreaking news at first sight, it goes against everything we've heard about the web-slinger's upcoming movie up until this point.

Batman: Gargoyle of Gotham is a story under DC’s Black Label, and it definitely uses everything that umbrella allows. The language is more severe, the violence is intense as Batman literally blinds enemies with his fingers, and the art matches it. The first issue was released way back in September of 2023, the second issue was released in December of 2023, and the third issue was released in December of 2024. Rafael Grampa is both the writer and artist behind the series which seems to be why it suffered a huge delay: it was simply hard for him to keep up. I held off on reading the series because of it, but, not that it’s back, let’s dive into this fantastic first issue.

Regina Hall and her production company Rh Negative have struck an exclusive first-look deal with MGM Alternative, the division of Amazon MGM Studios behind series like “The Voice,” “Survivor” and “Shark Tank.”

Under the agreement, Hall and her team will develop and produce original unscripted true crime, ensemble docuseries and game genres.

The first series Hall is developing for MGM Alternative has the working title “Squad Games,” a competition series loosely inspired by her film “Girls Trip” that will follow celebrities and their real-life BFFs on an exotic getaway full of wild challenges.

It focuses on Spider-Boy, who debuted in Spider-Man #7 in 2023, making him a new addition to the Spider-Verse. Nonetheless, he has a classic ability: Spider-Sense.

Spider-Man's Spider-Sense Gets a Major Upgrade

Typically, Spider-Man's Spider-Sense works by alerting him to incoming danger in his vicinity slightly before it occurs. However, it has its limitations, such as not recognizing symbiotes like Venom and being unable to help him against sufficiently super-fast opponents.

Between the May 2023 PlayStation Showcase gameplay and the Sdcc story trailer, a better idea is forming of what Peter and Miles will be facing in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. The highly anticipated third entry in Insomniac's superhero series will see the return of many of the first two titles' actors, alongside new cast members portraying fan-favorite villains such as Kraven and Venom.

The first two Marvel's Spider-Man titles have been praised for their storytelling and performances, with stories that balance superhero antics with the personal lives of both Spider-Men. This looks set to continue with Peter's childhood friend, Harry Osborn, returning after years away and wanting to use the experimental treatment for his terminal illness to "heal the world," something that will inevitably unleash the Venom symbiote on the city.
