With Kraven as the last confirmed Sony movie, Avengers: Doomsday on the horizon and Kingpin and Daredevil confirmed not be in the next Spider-Man movie, Sony could bring its villains over from Earth-688B as a consequence of Avengers: Doomsday. This opens the door for them to appear either in brief cameos -like Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home or Happy in Deadpool & Wolverine- or as central antagonists. In case of the latter, this is just one outline (inspired by the Spider-Man games) for how Kraven, Venom, Morbius, and others can be used in a Spider-Man movie.

Ever since Spider-Man: No Way Home shattered expectations by reuniting three different versions of Peter Parker on the big screen, all eyes have been set on Spider-Man 4 to raise the bar yet again, and with good reason. The upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie will be released after the events of Avengers: Doomsday and will be helmed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton. Audiences are eager to learn what this new era in the wall crawler's saga will look like and who Peter will face next. Fortunately, we might have some much-needed answers.
A new report by reliable insider Daniel Richtman states that Sony has offered the main villain role of Spider-Man 4 to an unnamed major star. While this wouldn't seem like groundbreaking news at first sight, it goes against everything we've heard about the web-slinger's upcoming movie up until this point.

Batman: Gargoyle of Gotham is a story under DC’s Black Label, and it definitely uses everything that umbrella allows. The language is more severe, the violence is intense as Batman literally blinds enemies with his fingers, and the art matches it. The first issue was released way back in September of 2023, the second issue was released in December of 2023, and the third issue was released in December of 2024. Rafael Grampa is both the writer and artist behind the series which seems to be why it suffered a huge delay: it was simply hard for him to keep up. I held off on reading the series because of it, but, not that it’s back, let’s dive into this fantastic first issue.
Spoilers for Batman: Gargoyle of Gotham #1 below.
Without a doubt, anyone who picks up this issue will be captivated by the art instantly, but that isn’t always a good thing.

Warning: Contains Spoilers for Ultimate Spider-Man #11! Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy is easily one of the most iconic installments of the character’s mythos, as it stands as the definitive Spider-Man live-action adaptation for many Marvel Comics fans. It’s so beloved, in fact, that many people are calling for a Spider-Man 4, and Tobey Maguire’s inclusion in Spider-Man: No Way Home was arguably the best part of the movie. Unfortunately, Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man may have run its course, and fans may not get any more of that universe. At least, not directly, as Marvel just proved Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy lives on in an all-new form.
In Ultimate Spider-Man #11 by Jonathan Hickman and David Messina, Spider-Man is going on patrol without his usual partner, the Green Goblin. In the Ultimate Universe, Spider-Man and the Green Goblin aren’t enemies, but rather heroic allies and best friends.

Warning: Contains Spoilers for Ultimate Spider-Man #11! Spider-Mans most famous quote is, with great power there must also come great responsibility. This quote ran across the top of the final panel of Spider-Mans first-ever comic book appearance, setting the tone for the entire series. And now, in Spider-Mans new Ultimate Universe comic series, Uncle Ben has just said this famous quote to Peter again (in so many words), only this time, his words carry the opposite meaning.

Matt Bomer's TV career has been extensive, with the actor popping up in a variety of shows, but the roles vary drastically, as seen in his appearances on White Collar and Doom Patrol. Bomer earned his first credits in TV back in 2000, and before long, he managed to graduate to more consistent roles. However, it wasn't until he landed the starring role as Neal Caffrey in the USA Network show White Collar that he became more widely known.
As Caffrey, he played a con man with a golden heart, who was given an opportunity to work with the FBI and earn his freedom after some high-profile heists he'd committed. As part of a duo with the incredible agent Peter Burke, the same detective who captured him, Neal began to turn away from his criminal ways and instead began to see the value and fun of working with the authorities.

Stephen Oyoung wants to reprise his role as Martin Li's Mister Negative in an MCU Spider-Man movie, showcasing a strong interest and passion for the character. Mister Negative, a major character in the Insomniac Spider-Man universe, was voiced by Oyoung who also provided his own appearance via motion capture for Martin Li, making the transition to live-action feasible. Mister Negative could be a fitting villain for Spider-Man 4, providing a grounded and multilayered story ahead of other villains like Kingpin or Venom.
A Marvel villain actor has already asked to be in the MCU with the same role in live-action, and he'd certainly be a unique choice to be the main foe in Spider-Man 4. Although Spider-Man 4 starring Tom Holland is confirmed to be in development, it's not yet known what Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have planned for the next chapter. Miles Morales, though overshadowed at times by Peter Parker, proves to be just as capable and deserving of the Spider-Man title throughout Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Miles faces personal demons and demonstrates his kind nature as well as his prowess when he confronts Mister Negative, Peter in the corrupting Symbiote Suit, and Venom. The end of Spider-Man 2 sees Miles take on more responsibility as Spider-Man, and attempt to balance his superhero and personal lives better.
Miles plays an enormous role in Marvel's Spider-Man 2; however, he is, throughout large sections of the game, overshadowed by Peter Parker and can come off feeling like a secondary character rather than a joint protagonist of equal importance. Though Peter is the original Spider-Man and, therefore, has decades of fan recognition, Miles Morales has, in recent years, become just as popular and widely beloved as his friend and mentor, both in the Spider-Man comics,...

Spider-Man's new sidekick Spider-Boy may not be the most welcome character in comics right now, but the young hero has a stunning ability nonetheless. Edge of Spider-Verse #3 provides a glimpse of Bailey Briggs' current life and how he fits into Marvel's timeline. More importantly, it shows a new twist on one of Spider-Man's most iconic powers.
Edge of Spider-Verse #3 includes the story 'Nobody Knows Who You Are,' which has the creative team of Dan Slott, Humberto Ramos, Wayne Faucher, Edgar Delgado, and Joe Caramagna. It focuses on Spider-Boy, who debuted in Spider-Man #7 in 2023, making him a new addition to the Spider-Verse. Nonetheless, he has a classic ability: Spider-Sense.
Spider-Man's Spider-Sense Gets a Major Upgrade
Typically, Spider-Man's Spider-Sense works by alerting him to incoming danger in his vicinity slightly before it occurs. However, it has its limitations, such as not recognizing symbiotes like Venom and being unable to help him against sufficiently super-fast opponents.

Between the May 2023 PlayStation Showcase gameplay and the Sdcc story trailer, a better idea is forming of what Peter and Miles will be facing in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. The highly anticipated third entry in Insomniac's superhero series will see the return of many of the first two titles' actors, alongside new cast members portraying fan-favorite villains such as Kraven and Venom.
The first two Marvel's Spider-Man titles have been praised for their storytelling and performances, with stories that balance superhero antics with the personal lives of both Spider-Men. This looks set to continue with Peter's childhood friend, Harry Osborn, returning after years away and wanting to use the experimental treatment for his terminal illness to "heal the world," something that will inevitably unleash the Venom symbiote on the city.
