After more than 50 years, two actors are diving back into the world of Willy Wonka (sort of). Julie Dawn Cole and Paris Themmen, two of the child stars of 1971’s Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, will participate in a live stage reading of Willy’s Candy Spectacular, an upcoming musical parody inspired by a disastrous Wonka event that made international headlines earlier this year.

Cole played the insatiable Veruca Salt in the classic movie starring Gene Wilder as chocolatier Willy Wonka, while Themmen played the cowboy hat wearing Mike Teavee. Both will participate in a live reading at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, serving as narrators. Cole will lead the cast from Aug. 9 to 18, with Themmen stepping in from Aug. 19-26.

Willy’s Candy Spectacular was inspired by a real-life Wonka event in Scotland, which organizers advertised as “immersive experience” that would transport Willy Wonka fans to a “magical realm.

Waking Nightmare begins appropriately enough with Jordan waking up screaming from a nightmare. This has been a regular occurrence since her best friend Jamie killed herself. It’s gotten bad enough that she’s moved back home with her parents Danielle and Jeff.

A visit from her best friend Zoey seems to cheer her up, but that night her nightmares turn into sleepwalking, and while doing that she pulls a knife on her mother. This gets her an appointment with Dr. Doolin who gives her a prescription for Ambien.

The Ambien doesn’t make her start posting racist comments on Twitter, but it doesn’t stop her sleepwalking either. In fact, she ends up walking out of the house...

Exclusive: Tubi has picked up Underdeveloped, a mockumentary from Brian A. Metcalf, starring Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tom Arnold and Mark Pellegrino. It will premiere globally September 8 on Fox Entertainment’s free streaming service Tubi. As an independent production with no direct ties to members of the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television, it also is one of the latest projects to receive a waiver from SAG-AFTRA amid the actors strike, so filming can move forward.

Created and executive produced by Metcalf under his Black Jellybeans banner, the comedy series focuses on a group of failed and inexperienced producers working together at a production company.

Brittany Snow is opening up about one of the “hardest mental health challenges” she has faced in the past year and how she has relied on her friends for support.

Although Snow doesn’t reveal too many details, the American Dreams alum filed for divorce in January of this year from husband of two years Tyler Stanaland. The couple had announced they were separated four months prior amid drama stemming from the Netflix reality series Selling the Oc.

“In the past year I went through probably the hardest mental health challenge I’ve ever faced. In one day, in a matter of hours, my life turned completely upside down,” Snow told Bustle. “I was blindsided and every thing I thought I knew, held sacred and truly trusted in my life was completely different.”

Snow continued, “A couple days later my grandmother passed away and I think every thing I knew about mental health was tested.

Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tom Arnold, Mark Pellegrino, Samm Levine, Shelley Regner, Kelly Arjen Charlene Amoia, Nolan River and Jaret Reddick are set to star in “Underdeveloped,” a limited series from Brian A. With the highly-anticipated horror Death House being released in cinemas on 23rd February 2018, I got a chance to speak with actor Yan Birch about the legacy of People Under the Stairs (1991), his character in Death House and hanging out with friends on the set.

How did you first get into acting?

My father was in the business in Sweden. Mostly Cabarets and Comedy shows. He was also a musician, so I grew up in a very creative arts environment. I started with music and then moved on to hosting a TV-Show in my teens. Then it continued from there.

You have had various roles over your career, but you are best known for your performance the Stairmaster from People Under the Stairs (1991). Did you think that the character would still be so popular over 25 years later?

I had no idea that anything like this would happen… I did know anything...

Just a few days after Pitch Perfect 3 wrapped production, Universal Pictures has unveiled the first poster, which reveals the tagline "Last Call Pitches." The studio also revealed that the first trailer will debut during VidCon's "Night of Awesome" live stream. The sequel was an even bigger hit, earning $184.2 million domestic and $287.5 million worldwide, from a $29 million budget.

Pitch Perfect 3 is set for release on December 22, which puts it in the midst of a competitive holiday season, where eight new films open in wide release, over a 10-day span. Disney rolls out what will likely be the biggest movie of the year, Star Wars: The Last Jedi on December 15, along with the 20th Century Fox animated movie Ferdinand, with Sony debuting their highly-anticipated Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle on December 20. This Pitch Perfect sequel will go up against Paramount's Downsizing, Warner Bros.' Bastards and The Weinstein Company's The Six Billion Dollar Man on December 22, with 20th Century Fox's The Greatest Showman on Earth arriving on Christmas Day. Production on Universal’s musical sequel Pitch Perfect 3 is officially underway – and a picture of the Barden Bellas is here to prove it.

First spotted by ComingSoon, the image finds a capella stalwarts Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp, Hana Mae Lee, Brittany Snow and Shelley Regner flanked by Ester Dean and Kelley Jakle. Orange is the New Black breakout Ruby Rose is also said to be part of that star-studded roster, even if she’s not featured in the image above. Ditto for Hailee Steinfeld, who made her debut as Emily in Pitch Perfect 2. Don’t worry, we understand that Steinfeld will be back, back, back for the upcoming follow-up, but commitments to this weekend’s Golden Globes ceremony prevented her from attending the first Pitch Perfect 3 table read.

Speaking of returning cast members, little is known about the future of Pitch Perfect‘s male characters.

The stars of Pitch Perfect are together again to shoot the third sequel, and they shared a few "team" photos on Thursday.

Anna Kendrick (Beca) and Rebel Wilson (Fat Amy) both posted the same group pic to Instagram, and posed with Chrissie Fit (Flo), Shelley Regner (Ashley), Ester Dean (Cynthia Rose), Hana Mae Lee (Lilly), Brittany Snow (Chloe), Anna Camp (Aubrey) and Kelley Jakle (Jessica).

With the New Year just days away, Universal Pictures has released brand new photos, storylines and dates for some of the most anticipated movies in 2015.

First up is Ted 2.

Hitting theaters on June 26, 2015, Seth MacFarlane returns as writer, director and voice star of Ted 2, Universal and Media Rights Capital’s follow-up to the highest-grossing original R-rated comedy of all time.

Joined once again by star Mark Wahlberg and fellow “Ted” writers Alec Sulkin & Wellesley Wild, MacFarlane produces the live action/CG-animated comedy alongside Bluegrass Films’ Scott Stuber, as well as John Jacobs and Jason Clark.

To label 2012’s Pitch Perfect as a cult classic is somewhat of an understatement. Pulling in close to $120 million on a budget of $17 million, the musical comedy was a bona fide hit, so it should come as no surprise that Universal was eager to get the ball rolling on a sequel. And today, we have our first look at that follow-up in question thanks to Entertainment Weekly, with returning stars Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, and Brittany Snow adorning this week’s cover for Pitch Perfect 2.

The sequel will see Elizabeth Banks step up from actress/producer to director, as The Hunger Games star has been brought onboard to replace Jason Moore from the first film. Speaking to EW, the actress-turned-filmmaker poked fun at the task in front of her.

It’s really only fitting that the most popular a capella group in America should land a role in the world’s most highly anticipated a capella comedy. That’s right – Pentatonix just locked down a supporting role in next year’s Pitch Perfect 2.

The five-person ensemble, which won a season of NBC’s The Sing-Off and found chart success soon after, will have a small role as a rival group to the Barden Bellas. It sounds like their part in Pitch Perfect 2 is more of a cameo than anything – the group spent just one day on the sequel’s Baton Rouge, Louisiana, set.
