FBI has just announced who will be playing the new man in Isobel’s life, and it’s a face well known to TV viewers!
FBI has often put the focus more on the day-to-day cases than the private lives of the agents. There have been exceptions, such as Oa bonding with his girlfriend Gemma, including a recent episode where their romantic trip was interrupted by a hijacking. There’s also Maggie wrestling with raising the daughter of a late friend while Scola and co-agent Nina are raising a child.
Jubal has also gotten some good focus reconciling with his ex-wife as they raise their son. That’s left Isobel (Alana de la Garza) mostly out of the loop in terms of any romantic or private talk.
That’s why it was so surprising when Season 7, Episode 11 had Isobel talking to Oa after the latter was troubled on a case.

Fans of the hit CBS drama FBI were surprised last month when it was revealed that Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castille, played by Alana de la Garza, is actually married. Until now, her personal life had been a mystery, even to her closest colleagues. However, the identity of her husband has now been confirmed. Veteran actor Tom Cavanagh has been cast in the role, bringing even more depth to Isobel’s story.
Cavanagh is best known for his roles in The Flash, where he played multiple versions of Harrison Wells, as well as for his leading role in the early 2000s comedy Ed. He has also appeared in Scrubs, Royal Pains, Eli Stone, and more recently in Blue Bloods and Superman & Lois.
The revelation about Isobel’s marriage came during the February 11 episode titled Shelter. In a conversation with fellow agent Oa (played by Zeeko Zaki), she casually mentioned,...

FBIseason 7 has just cast a crucial role that nobody has ever heard of until recently. The hit CBS franchise is going through a period of change, with the spinoff FBI: CIA in the works and the cancellation of both FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International. TVLineconfirms that The Flash star Tom Cavanagh was cast as the husband of Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castille (Alana de la Garza). Young Clark Kent was deeply in love with Lana Lang. The two had an on-again-off-again relationship that spanned the first seven and half seasons of Smallville. Every time Lana and Clark would get together, something would come between them—usually his secret. Something kept Clark from confiding in Lana, and she couldn’t trust him until she knew everything.
Lana Lang never really gave Clark the benefit of the doubt. When she continuously chose to assume the worst of Clark, it’s no surprise he wasn’t sure how she would react. After Clark and Lana broke up the first time, she would take digs at him whenever the opportunity presented itself. She disregarded his feelings about Lex and had a different set of rules for herself when it came to keeping secrets. It’s a testament to Kristin Kreuk that Lana remained likable and sympathetic despite her hurtful and hypocritical behavior.

When Elena first locked eyes with Stefan Salvatore, a mythic romance was born. Fresh from the trials of losing both her parents on the same night, the small-town Virginia girl finds a reason to live again. So is the set-up to The Vampire Diaries, one of the most cherished supernatural romances on television. Soon, Elena and Stefan's love becomes a threesome as the latter's brother Damon enters the picture. But while the two brothers have fully realized characterizations that make it impossible to look away, the same cannot be said for the third corner of this love triangle.
Elena Gilbert's characterization was extremely meditated on, but that does not necessarily mean she works as a main character. The creatives who adapted the series from the book series of the same name changed Elena from a high school queen bee type to a character who is arguably crippled by her compassion.

Some even charm the audience so much that they turn into heroes in their own right. Klaus Mikaelson famously terrorized Elena and her friends only to win over fans with his charisma. But there are times when the opposite occurs.

For most of Smallville's run, young Clark Kent was in love with the girl next door, Lana Lang. Played by Kristin Kreuk, Lana was one of the main characters of the hit superhero origin story. She was intelligent, kind, and capable. Over the course of the show, Lana experiences numerous tragedies but always emerges stronger on the other side.
Clark and Lana's chemistry lit up the small screen for years, but their relationship had its ups and downs. She even marries someone else at one point—and so does Clark, for that matter, though his wasn't legal. She spends much of the series denying her feelings for Clark and makes some questionable romantic choices.

Has FBI just given Maggie a possible new love interest? The cards seem to play out that way!
Caution: This article contains Spoilers for FBI Season 7 Episode 12
FBI fans know Maggie (Missy Peregrym) lost her husband, a reporter who was murdered for getting too close to a scandal before the series began. She's been pretty focused on the job since she hasn't had much time for romance.
In "Manhunt," the team worked with tech analyst Elise Taylor (Vidette Lim) to bust a sex trafficking ring. The sting went badly with the suspect running off with the young girl he was planning to sell, Analis.
Maggie barely lost them and vowed to find Analis. She got a break when a 911 dispatcher named Joel reached out to the FBI as Analis had managed to contact him. Joel would help the team over the phone, as they played the traffickers off each other to find Analis.

We’ve got a first look at the newest FBI crossover, which is a fun one for fans!
FBI doesn’t do as many crossovers as, say, the One Chicago shows. The logistics are an issue with FBI: International filming overseas, while FBI: Most Wanted takes the team across the country a lot.
FBI has mostly settled on “mini-crossovers” which are usually Isobel (Ana de la Garza) popping up on Most Wanted or Jubal (Jeremy Sisto) talking on video to the Fly Team. The most common connection has been between Stuart Scola (John Boyd) and his girlfriend, Nina Chase (Shantel VanSanten).
The pair haven’t tied the knot but are living together and raising a child with Nina a regular on FBI: Most Wanted. Scola did a brief cameo on Most Wanted and Nina returned the favor popping up on FBI.

FBI fans are wondering about the whereabouts of one of the show’s big characters.
The CBS series, which is currently in its seventh season, is set to wrap up this month, and fans are wondering about what’s going on with Oa, played by Zeeko Zaki.
Both Special Agent Omar Adom “Oa” Zidan and Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castille (Alana de la Garza) were missing in Season 7, Episode 12, entitled “Manhunt.”
Keep reading to find out more…
It’s believed that their absences were due to FBI and FBI: Most Wanted‘s recent budget cuts that reduced the amount of episodes actors filmed each season.
While there was no explanation during the episode about where Oa and Isobel were, last May, Deadline reported each series regular on FBI and FBI: Most Wanted had their guaranteed minimum episodes cut down by two episodes for Season 7 and Season 5 respectively due to budget cuts.

Plotlines were aplenty in The Vampire Diaries, as it spanned eight long seasons. A new supernatural species continuously plagued Mystic Falls, Elena was the target of a new villain, and the characters were falling in love with each other all the time in the town. Sometimes, these seemingly countless plotlines did not get the focus and attention they deserved.
Whether the writers chose to gloss over them or more important stories got the focus, these ignored plotlines had a lot of potential. They gave viewers an insight into histories of some characters like Damon and Stefan or involved new and interesting characters that fans wanted to know more about. Warning! Spoilers for Outlander season 7, episode 12 ahead!Just about everyone was angry in Outlander season 7, episode 12, but there was only one person with an actual right to be. The previous episode of the Starz fantasy series saw a variety of big reveals come to light, and episode 12 explored the fallout. Jamie's return from the dead with a league of British soldiers on his tail was certainly an upset that Lord John Grey would have to deal with. Simultaneously, Jamie had to cope with the revelation that Lord John had slept with his wife. Claire was angry about Jamie's accusations, while William reeled over the truth about his father. In all, it was pure chaos.
Of course, Outlander has been working up to all this for quite some time. Jamie and Lord John have had a complicated relationship for years, owed to the fact that one is madly in love with the other.

The following contains major spoilers for The Day of the Jackal Season 1, Episode 10, now streaming on Peacock.
Peacock's The Day of the Jackal featured an incredible performance by Lashana Lynch as Bianca Pullman, the dogged MI6 agent tasked with tracking down the titular assassin. Audiences followed not only Bianca's investigation, but the way it turned her into a completely different person that her husband Paul and daughter Jasmine struggled to recognize. Unfortunately, that led to the worst posslble outcome for Bianca.
In the Day of the Jackal Season 1 finale, Bianca quit MI6 and recommitted herself to her family. But with higher-ups looking for a way out, Isobel convinced Bianca to return to the field -- where she was eventually shot and killed by the Jackal while trying to convince him to surrender. Cbr spoke to Lashana Lynch about what she enjoyed most about playing the character and how she felt Bianca played against storytelling tropes.

If you’re not a fan of watching the men of the Grey family take emotional and physical beatings, you likely spent most of this week’s Outlander averting your eyes.
Both Lord John and William (yes, I know, not technically a Grey, but c’mon) spend the hour in a tormented state: William a victim of the knowledge that his entire life has kinda been a lie, Lord John a victim of Jamie’s fists. You all know I love me some James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser, but both his actions and his words in Episode 12 are straight-up ugly.

Jamie (Sam Heughan) pulls Lord John (David Berry) through the streets, trying to escape the soldiers as Starz’s Outlander season seven episode 12 opens. It seems Jamie has something on him that he didn’t want the soldiers finding during their search as he entered the city.
Lord John wonders why Jamie took the chance to come to his house, and obviously, Jamie did it to see Claire. He knew she’d be worried after news arrived that his ship sank. Now, Jamie needs to get out of the city. Lord John should claim he was forced to go with Jamie if anyone discovers them.
They ride out of the city and Jamie finally has the chance to thank John for taking care of Claire. He promises to clear up all the lies they’ve told William the next time they see him.

Warning! Spoilers ahead for FBI season 7, episode 5, "Pledges" and episode 6, "Perfect."Jeremy Sisto's Jubal Valentine has been a major staple for the Dick Wolf show FBI, but I'm worried about his future in the show. Warning! Spoilers ahead for FBI season 7, episode 6, "Perfect."
FBI season 7, episode 6, "Perfect," features Isobel (Alana de la Garza) leading the team instead of Jubal, leaving it unclear if or when Jeremy Sisto will return to the flagship procedural. For context, Jubal has been suspended from duty at the end of the previous episode. Jubal's punishment led to widespread speculation that Sisto was leaving FBI. "Perfect" does not directly continue this story, instead offering a quick explanation for his non-participation.
Jubal's situation means that Isobel has to be the one to lead the team during an intense case involving a serial killer who is abducting young women and causing them to bleed to death after removing their uteruses. The rest of the FBI season 7 cast races against time to find the latest victim while she is still alive and must turn to Isobel rather than Jubal for guidance as they pursue this investigation,...

Playing as the Dark Urge in Baldur's Gate 3 changes much about the game and the story it follows, including adding one new character that is truly depraved. That is Sceleritas Fel, the goblin butler who appears to the Dark Urge at night and encourages them to enact new atrocities. Sceleritas is delightfully grotesque and bloodthirsty, taking immense joy in the Dark Urge's violence and expressing dismay at their self-control.
It is through this figure that players can learn much about their own backstory, but the butler is remarkably tight-lipped about his own identity. He claims to serve the Dark Urge, but as the player has no memories, they have little to verify this until later in the game. And even then, when the mystery of the Urge's nature is discovered, Sceleritas remains an enigma. But thanks to some theories made by fans and analysis of Forgotten Realms lore, it is...

Warning! Spoilers ahead for FBI season 7, episode 4, "Doubted."
FBI season 7, episode 4 introduces a potential new replacement for Tiffany Wallace when Syd Ortiz joins the team. Tiffany left the FBI season 7 cast after the season premiere, explaining that she was moving to Georgia to work in her sister's cafe and regain her peace of mind. Replacing her was not going to be easy, as she had been Scola's partner since season 3, and he totally trusted her.
While FBI justified writing Tiffany out, their explanations for why Scola's new partners keep leaving aren't nearly as clear. He has had two partners so far, and neither of them has lasted more than an episode. Sofia Ortega decided that the New York Field Office wasn't for her, while neither Ulrich's presence nor his absence was ever explained. One of the most divisive moments in Baldurs Gate 3 is saving Isobel and beating Marcus in the Last Light Inn. You will encounter this conundrum in Act 2 while navigating the Shadow-Cursed lands. The decision you make here is one of many dangerous game-changing decisions, so be sure to tread carefully during this encounter.

One Shadowheart choice in Act 2 significantly impacts Act 3 content in Baldur's Gate 3. Killing Dame Aylin in Act 2 leads to the fall of the Last Light Inn and loss of key characters. Shadowheart's Dark Justiciar path requires killing Dame Aylin, but it comes at a significant cost.
Seeing the outcome of decisions in Baldur's Gate 3 is usually an exciting part of experiencing the game, but not every choice ends up contributing to the overall experience. Some consequences end up removing a lot more content than they add, especially when it comes to the latter parts of the story. Although Act 3 is ultimately chock-full of things to do in any playthrough, it's surprisingly easy to eliminate a lot of memorable ones with one simple choice that occurs in Act 2 of the game.

Astarion is the best Dark Urge romance due to his understanding of the character's struggle. Astarion offers unique help and empathy that other companions lack. A relationship with Astarion can also be the key to helping him overcome his personal demons.
Romance in Baldur's Gate 3 isn't often a particularly tricky affair, but affairs of the heart can get a lot more troublesome when playing as the Dark Urge. With a simmering inclination toward acts of senseless violence, the Dark Urge Origin option presents the choice to fight against bad impulses or embrace them for a chaotic campaign. This can be one of the most interesting ways to play Baldur's Gate 3, and part of that comes from how complicated it makes relationships with party members and other NPCs.

FBI's three-year renewal deal means our favorite fictional federal agents will keep New York safe from terrorist threats for a while.
Most of the time, FBI's cast doesn't change much from year to year, though there have been some new additions (and sad subtractions) over the years.
Let's examine who is returning and who each actor is outside of their role on FBI.
FBI Will Have The Same Cast, But There's a Twist
The same detectives will star on FBI as in years past, but there's a twist: CBS will have the FBI cast rotate throughout episodes, as NBC did with the Law & Order shows when they finally returned from the strike-extended hiatus.
This means that some characters will be missing from each episode. Hopefully, there will be good on-screen reasons for their absences.

An FBI arc that kicked off with this season’s premiere comes to an intense climax in Tuesday night’s finale — and in doing so, it puts Special Agent Tiffany Wallace (played by Katherine Renee Kane) in quite a moral predicament.
Season 6 opened with FBI agent Trevor Hobbs (Roshawn Franklin) being killed while working undercover with Tiffany, a death for which Agent Wallace felt some blame. That tragedy was revisited six weeks ago, when Tiffany grew convinced that the terrorist who killed Hobbs — Hakim Siran (returning guest star Antwayn Hopper) — was back in the States.

Jubal shouldn't have been anywhere near this week's case.
Yet, there he was, front and center, on FBI Season 6 Episode 12.
As soon as he recognized that the girls who overdosed had gotten the tainted pills from his godson, Jubal needed to tap out.
Instead, he doubled down. And everything went downhill from there.
This is hardly the first, nor will it be the last, case of an agent being too close. There's been at least one each season.
For example, in this season, how about FBI Season 6 Episode 3, when Oa used Gemma's drug-dealing friend Cate to entrap her Ukrainian extortionist boyfriend, Luka?
Gemma didn't much like finding out her friend had gotten killed as part of an FBI operation, one of the many things that have set back that relationship. Gemma also didn't like being quizzed about her drug use. Go figure.
There's only one episode remaining in this season.

Can no one in that New York FBI field office catch a break at long-term romance?
It was Oa's turn to be disappointed by love on FBI Season 6 Episode 3.
It shouldn't be said that no one has had a lasting relationship. Scola and Nina are still a couple and have a child together.
However, they aren't working together as she's headed off to the greener pastures at FBI: Most Wanted. (A starring role trumps recurring every time.)
But Maggie, Oa, Jubal, and Isobel have all had lengthy relationships fall apart. Might working for the Bureau have something to do with that?
After we're introduced to Gemma first thing, it was obvious that something terrible would happen to wipe that goofy grin off Oa's face.
On paper, the plucky kid from Queens and the wealthy socialite from Manhattan hardly seemed like an ideal match.
But, Ok, it's been a while for...

Discovering the activities of the Selunite Resistance is an Act 2 quest chain in Baldur’s Gate 3. It will take you to several locations across the Shadow-Cursed lands. While it is a rather obscure side quest, it does flesh out more of the lore about what is going on in the region.
Because this is an Act 2 exclusive quest, you must finish everything before moving on to finally confront Ketheric Thorm. You will have mostly the same party from Act 1 - with the possible additions of Halsin and/or Minthara, if you complete their side quests. You can take anyone on this quest, but Shadowheart may have additional quips due to her rivalry with Selunites.

Much like the earlier reviewed All Of US Strangers, here’s another “indie” film that’s now getting a “wide rollout” after end-of-the-year screenings on the coasts. And yes, it could have been out everywhere in the last couple of months, but it seems that it’s more pertinent now than ever, since the presidential election cycle began with the Iowas caucus just days ago. No, it’s not about someone running for office, but its subject is a major discussion of any political discourse, going back to the beginnings of the US. And that subject is race. Now this new film doesn’t focus on one particular historical event, much like the filmmaker Ava DuVernay did with Selma, now ten years ago. This delves much deeper into it, as she travels the globe, and explores different eras, all in adapting a lauded scholar’s investigation into racism’s Origin.

Baldur's Gate 3 features a strong selection of subclasses, but a variety of great Dungeons & Dragons options didn't make it into the game. As a video game built around the systems of the tabletop RPG's fifth edition, Baldur's Gate 3 directly ports over many core features while adding some tweaks of its own. Thanks to the vast library of DnD material, however, it's no surprise that some excellent choices are currently absent.
The best subclasses missing from Baldur's Gate 3 cover a wide variety of applications, from dark magical inclinations to showy martial prowess. They also offer exciting potential for roleplaying, standing out from any subclasses currently in the game with their own flavor. It's not impossible that Baldur's Gate 3 Dlc expansions might eventually add more options, although the current focus on patches and hotfixes makes it unlikely for any additions to happen soon.

Reel Horror are currently running a Indiegogo crowdfunder campaign to raise funds for their first short film Witch Trial and has so far announced that Ayvianna Snow (News Here) will be joining the film in the lead role of Isobel Gowdie.
Witch Trial is based on a real story that took place in a really fascinating period of history so the aim is to have as much accuracy as possible with the military uniforms and aesthetic. With that in mind, news has been released that they have recruited the talent of Simon Lawrence Moore as Historical Advisor on the film.
Simon has a successful YouTube channel dedicated to military history and uses living history to give his audience an authentic experience of stepping back in time. His attention to detail is exceptional and he is often sought out to visit museums to advise.

Former co-stars Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder have been busy promoting their alcohol ventures across social media and on-ground, but their claim to fame will always be their roles of star-crossed lovers, Damon and Elena. The Vampire Diaries was about the creatures of the night, brotherly bonds, and love triangles, and their ship, Delena, took over the world and continues to enthrall fans to date.
Upon rewatch, there are several aspects of the famed relationship which seem dated and unhealthy, especially when they are viewed through a contemporary lens. Not surprisingly, Maggie's return wasn't as smooth as it could have been.
Even though she couldn't admit it to herself, Maggie was still haunted by her exposure to sarin on FBI Season 5 Episode 7.
Oa meant well, but he didn't make things any easier by second-guessing Maggie for her own good.
Maggie showed up out of the blue and confided to Oa that while she had the option of staying out long, she was too antsy sitting around home, so she returned earlier.
That should have been a red flag. Maggie could have had to have both medical and mental-health clearances. But there was no indication that that was the case.
It didn't help that Maggie's first case back carried added pressure, as one of the two victims was a local success story, a law student on her way to the FBI Academy.
And she turned out to be collateral damage,...

Missy Peregrym returns to “FBI” on Tuesday’s episode, “Ready or Not,” after six months off for maternity leave and seven months off for her character, Special Agent Maggie Bell. Speaking with TheWrap, she admits neither she nor Maggie were, as the title of the episode suggests, quite ready.
In the world of the CBS series, Maggie was recovering from damage caused by exposure to Sarin gas in a dramatic episode from last season. Here she dishes on returning to the fast-paced Dick Wolf series and how she and partner O.A. Zidan (Zeeko Zaki) have to deal with the fears that she could be injured again.
TheWrap: We recently spoke to Zeeko, who said that O.A. is overprotective of Maggie when she first comes back.
Peregrym: Definitely. Maggie comes back and she’s a bit nervous. I think the bigger issue is that O.A. hasn’t really...

Oa got an informative lesson on what the victim of a crime goes through.
After being mugged initially, it affected his performance throughout FBI Season 5 Episode 4.
Like many victims, Oa wanted to put the mugging behind him and move on, thinking that would make the experience disappear.
Shouldn't there be some policy that an agent who is a victim of a crime should have to report that to this supervisor? You know Isobel didn't like finding out about what happened to Oa second-hand.
And mentioning it to his partner, even his temporary partner, should also be a given. But Oa blew it off, attempting to bury himself in his work. But his tumultuous state of mind kept leaking through.
Despite Oa pretending that it was no big deal, the trauma continued to dog him while he attempted just to do his job.
Oa, usually more stoic, reacted emotionally throughout the case,...

Well, at least we're getting somewhere now.
Roswell, New Mexico Season 4 Episode 10 Finally saw the breakthrough we've all been waiting for when the portal between the underground dimension opened up. And it ended on a great cliffhanger that puts the urgency back into the storyline, as Michael is one step closer to reuniting with his love.
But this was a bit of a boring hour outside of that excellent last-minute reveal.
Alex's disappearance feels like it happened ages ago, and it stinks that in this time while he's been away, we've had such little knowledge of where he was and what was going on.
Instead, Alex's absence wasn't a plot point until a few episodes back, and we only get the information dump about the new dimension in the form of Dallas and Bonnie's scavenger hunt.
It's nice to finally see what's going on underneath that quicksand, though it's just a densely-hued second Roswell.

This was certainly an hour unlike anything we've seen through four seasons of Roswell, New Mexico.
Sure, we've seen mindscapes a time or twenty, but this wasn't a two-minute scene of the chaos in Max's mind when he was dead or Michael and Isobel talking about their love lives.
Roswell, New Mexico Season 4 Episode 9 was a whole hour spent in the old west, with Liz and her doppelganger playing a game of cat and mouse while her friends tried to keep her alive in the real world. So, to put it mildly, this installment was a Trip.
Here's the thing about these kinds of episodes; you either love them or hate them.
There usually isn't much in-between when it comes to bottle-like hours that see the show shrunken down to its most basic parts to create an experience that allows a deeper exploration of the characters. The slower pace is...
