Gábor Hellebrandt is responsible for the inception of the horror film 'Post Mortem' (2020) and is also its creative producer and its ghost.
His feature film 'Post Mortem' is apparently the first Hungarian horror ever made. It was Hungary's official entry for the Oscars® in 2022. So far, the film was screened on 50 international film festivals, selected for 24 main official competitions, and won 29 awards. 'Post Mortem' was the best-selling Hungarian movie around the world in 2021. Its distribution rights were purchased for nearly 140 countries from Great Britain to India, the Americas to Japan.
As a producer, he is a member of the Hungarian Film Academy.
Gábor Hellebrandt has been working as an urban and hip-hop dance choreographer since the beginning of the 1990s. He received a world champion silver medal in 2017 in the urban dance style. He has been in several commercials, music videos, and films as an actor ('St.Hubertus', Up!: 'Day', 'The Exam'). He was also the writer and creative director, as well as the martial arts and movement choreographer (as a G1 level Krav Maga fighter) of many multiple-award-winning commercials ('Zwack Unicum', 'Vilmos', 'The Attic'). He was the creative supervisor of the historical thriller 'Trezor' (2018), which was nominated for the International Emmy Award and won 8 Hungarian Film Awards.
Since 2014, he is the co-owner, CEO, and creative producer of the commercial and film production company Bergendy and Sons Ltd.
