Zack Hosseini tells stories that unfold like memories you can't quite place.
Born to a first-generation Iranian father and a "Sweet Tea Southern" mother, Zack grew up in the slow sprawl of Georgia, where uncanny contradictions lived side by side. That duality still shapes his voice - drawn to the myths people live by, the roles they perform, and the quiet, inevitable ways those constructs start to crack.
A graduate of USC's School of Cinematic Arts, Zack's short films - including A Cotton Moon (starring Eric Roberts) and Dion & Denver - have screened at Palm Springs ShortFest, FilmQuest, San Diego Comic-Con, and Chelsea Film Festival.
Influenced by the poetic dread of Japanese Horror, the psychological decay of American New Wave Cinema, and the moral pressure-cooker of The Twilight Zone, his work draws characters into rich, atmospheric worlds where beliefs are tested and the truth rarely holds.
Zack is also a sought-after editor, cutting story-first campaigns for Nike, Google, American Express, and AT&T - blending narrative instinct with commercial precision.
Along with his team at Chaos Theory, Zack has a slate of elevated genre features in development.
