Let’s be honest for a second – if you didn’t watch Power Rangers growing up, did you even have a childhood? The color-coded heroes were all the hype back in the day and whether it was the Mighty Morphin’ era or Dino Thunder, we all had our favorites picked out.
And come one, the Legendary Battle? That was our Avengers: Endgame moment! Unfortunately, while Power Rangers was the childhood for many, it wasn’t for Dacre Montgomery, the Red Ranger from the 2017 film.

Ah, the iconic Red Rangers who, somehow, were almost every girl’s crush growing up. Jason Lee Scott, Leo Corbett, Conner McKnight, there was just something about these men taking charge that made us all swoon collectively. Then Power Rangers came along in 2017 and Dacre Montgomery donned the red suit, bringing Jason Scott to life. While he had that perfect heartthrob energy,...

Film history is built on cult classics as much as is it on blockbusters. These are movies that, while they didn't necessarily make a huge impact upon their initial release, gained appreciation in later years and left fans wondering why we didn't see more of what was originally presented. Somehow, a "Power Rangers" film falls into that category.
Directed by Dean Israelite, 2017's "Power Rangers" reinvented the story about a group of teenagers with attitude being recruited by the ancient warrior Zordon (Bryan Cranston) to fight bad guys in color-coded super suits. By jazzing up the origins of Jason (Dacre Montgomery), Billy (Rj Cyler), and the rest of the team, Israelite and his collaborators created a fun film that should have paved the way for sequels. That was the plan, anyway.
Before the film was even released, Lionsgate announced plans to make as many as seven "Power Rangers" movies, assuming...

Launching a successful movie franchise has become a more and more difficult task for studios in today’s day and age, with even the most successful of properties not always leading to sure-fire hits at the box office.
Sony’s Spider-Man franchise is a perfect example of this with Sony now planning on slowing down on its Spider-Man universe after a series of flops at the box office in the form of Morbius, Madame Web, Venom: The Last Dance, and Kraven the Hunter. Netflix recently announced that Stranger Things' long-awaited fifth and final season will premiere in 2025. Showrunners have yet to set a specific date for fans to mark on their calendars. However, after eight years full of unexpected delays and production hiatuses, audiences now know their favorite Hawkins' misfits will soon be back in action (and for the last time).
To ensure the finale remains spoiler-free before its release, the cast and crew have been excruciatingly tight-lipped about what fans can expect. Still, there are a few things we do know. Additionally, among the other returning characters, a familiar scientist/misguided father figure will be making an unforeseen reappearance.

Yesterday, we shared a rumour claiming that Hasbro is moving forward with a new live-action Power Rangers movie and an animated TV series. The update came after the company's deal with Netflix fell apart, robbing fans of a slate of streaming projects featuring the iconic team of heroes.
X's @Jinsakuu has proven to be a reliable source for Power Rangers scoops and leaks in recent years. Today, he's shared several exciting updates about what's happening with the franchise.
He starts by revealing that the movie has nothing to do with what Jonathan Entwistle (The End of the F***ing World) was planning for Netflix. It appears talks between Hasbro and Paramount Pictures have gained traction, with at least some chatter about a buyout which could see Power Rangers permanently fall under the latter studio's umbrella.

If Stranger Things wants to provide a rewarding conclusion to the fate of Hawkins, it must break one character death rule that all four seasons have complied with so far. The series rose to popularity after its premiere in 2016, and since then, the Duffer Brothers have been responsible for creating some of the most beloved characters on TV for Stranger Things. Although the series is praised for its intriguing story, stunning visuals, and homages to the 1980s era, audiences chastise one common theme — and Stranger Things season 5 only has one more chance to fix its most annoying problem.
The most recent season significantly raises the stakes for Hawkins' best defenders, but Stranger Things still has a lot of loose ends to tie up in the wake of Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower). After eight years, it's becoming more obvious the Duffer Brothers are giving a wide berth to killing any of their established main characters.

As Stranger Things approaches its fifth and final season on Netflix, one of the top questions on viewers' minds is Max Mayfield's (Sadie Sink) fate. Stranger Things season 4's ending shows Max comatose in the hospital after facing off with the Upside Down's supervillain Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) in the old Creel house where he was raised and once regarded as Henry Creel. Max's heart stops, and Eleven (Millie Bobbi Brown) manages to revive her just enough to survive. Therefore, the reveal of Max's fate in Stranger Things season 5 is a highly anticipated moment.
The show's fourth season provides a lot of clarity on the origin story of the Upside Down, an alternate reality full of monsters that feed on humans. The world's biggest monster did not start out as one at all Henry Creel was a young boy with psychokinetic powers living in Hawkins, Indiana, and pushed into experiments alongside Eleven.

As director Luca Guadagnino is set to create his vision of American Psycho, many have been trying to envision what the project could look like. The original American Psycho is a classic in its own right, with a stunning performance from Christian Bale. These are big shoes to fill, and while the details on the new project are scarce, beyond knowing the remake is set to be closer to Bret Easton Ellis's novel, a lot remains unknown. The biggest question is who will play Patrick Bateman; here are our top six picks to fill the role.
Jacob Elordi Known for The Kissing Booth, Euphoria, Priscilla, Saltburn
It seems as if a running favorite for the role of Patrick Bateman is Jacob Elordi, known for his starring role in HBO's Euphoria. The 27-year-old star starred alongside Barry Keoghan in 2023's Saltburn, a film that saw plenty of success when it was released.

Stranger Things is one of the biggest shows in the world, and the work that goes into crafting each season has grown exponentially since its 2016 debut. In Season 4, we saw multiple hour-and-a-half episodes, with the finale nearly reaching two and a half hours, longer than many films. According to Gaten Matarazzo, who recently spoke to MovieWeb about his Lego Star Wars series, we shouldn't expect the fifth season of Stranger Things to drop the bar in quality at all. He explains:
In past seasons, it was always a six to eight-month shoot. When we started this one, they said to get ready for at least a year, so we knew it was going to be a really long filming process.
Matarazzo continues:
"We're already in month eight, where we are usually wrapping up, and we still got so much to do, but it has really flown by. I think that's...

Casting Dain Aetos for Amazon's Fourth Wing TV show will be tricky but vital considering the character's arc and narrative role. While casting Xaden Riorson for Fourth Wing's show is important as he is the main love interest, casting Dain will be equally, if not more important to get right. Violet's journey in the Riders Quadrant is initially made better due to her having Dain, her childhood best friend, there as her squad leader. However, Dain's overprotectiveness of Violet slowly becomes more suffocating, causing a tension to rise that eventually boils over.
The actor who plays Dain will need to sell both aspects of him for the Fourth Wing TV show. Dain is meant to be a boy-next-door type, seemingly good-hearted and at times genuinely kind. Though he betrays Violet's trust, the actor will need to showcase his change of heart if the show is to do Dain's redemption...
