Dominique Thaysen

Dominique Thaysen was born in Cape Town, South Africa. Thaysen received an education in ballet, tap, and contemporary dancing. Signed to Boss Models at the age of twelve, as a child she worked as an actor and model in catalogs and international commercials. She would appear in multiple college graduate MFA films while in High School. She attended AFDA for two years to further her studies of acting and make-up. She traveled to Los Angeles in 2013 pursue acting where she obtained a scholarship from The New York Film Academy. In 2014 she landed the role as a featured intern in the popular show The Mindy Project and has since gone on to be featured in multiple TV shows. These include Lethal Weapon, Why Women Kill, Ratched, Reboot alongside Keegan-Michael Key and most recently a featured Model in the popular Apple TV show Palm Royale. Living in Los Angeles and working on writing her own feature film to be filmed early 2026.
