"I expect your death to top the ratings." Gravitas Ventures has revealed the unsettling official trailer for a film titled DarkGame, a twisted horror thriller by director Howard J. Ford. Set for release in February on VOD if anyone wants to watch. A determined Portland detective is in a race against time to stop a twisted game show being broadcast on the dark web, where captives are forced to compete for their lives. The losers are executed via live broadcast. For the sadistic masked host, this is all part of his master plan to gain more ratings. Ed Westwick stars as Det. Ben Jacobs, with Andrew P. Stephen, Natalya Tsvetkova, Lola Wayne, Rose Reynolds, and Rory Alexander. This isn't the first movie about a death game broadcast online, there are tons of them already, and this definitely won't be the last either. This looks as exploitative and as gross as the game within it,...

Director James Gunn has been named PETA’s 2023 Person of the Year. Per the animal rights organization, Gunn has been selected “for using impressive and stunningly well-crafted CGI animals to inspire tens of millions of moviegoers—who flocked to theaters to see ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’—to have compassion for the millions of animals killed by experimenters in laboratories.”
The third installment of “Guardians of the Galaxy” explains Rocket Raccoon’s origin story as a test subject in a lab, alongside other animals.
“By telling the story of the millions of vulnerable animals abused in experiments, James Gunn has shown himself to be a true animal guardian,” says PETA president Ingrid Newkirk. “PETA is delighted to honor him for encouraging exactly what the world needs: empathy for all living beings.”
Gunn also adopted his dog, Ozu, in May 2022 and promoted #AdoptDontShop on each post related to his dog’s journey.

It’s almost time to close the storybook on “Once Upon A Time,” the fairy tale drama branchild of “Lost” veterans Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. The series will come to an end after seven seasons on ABC May 18, with the creators hoping to leave their audience a little more hopeful than how they found them.
“I think we were the first show to put a sword in Snow White’s hand, and we didn’t have damsels in distress. I hope our legacy is people realize that they can save themselves,” said Kitsis at an event celebrating the series Tuesday in Los Angeles, Calif.
Despite believing they would get canceled their first season, Kitsis and Horowitz revealed that the first seed for the show actually began with discussions about the Evil Queen/Regina, who came to be played by Lana Parrilla.

That was a bit all over the place, Once Upon a Time!
With this once-hot ABC drama gearing up to come to a close, fans have been wondering just how the whole thing is going to end.
On Once Upon a Time Season 7 Episode 16, two of the series' most-loved characters were put in danger, but will any harm to come them?
It's hard to imagine Zelena or Henry not surviving Once Upon a Time Season 7. They are both big characters and fans will be clamoring for them both to get happy endings.
We already knew Henry was going to find himself in the clutches of Nick aka Hansel, but adding Kelly into the mix was just plain rude.

What was more frustrating about Henry's side of things was that it came at the time he realized there was actually something there between him and Jacinda.

Hey, "Once Upon A Time" fans. We recently got an official press release from ABC for the upcoming "Once Upon A Time" episode 4 of this current 7th season. The press release includes a brief preview description of some of the things we can expect to see in the new episode. It sounds like we'll see some pretty interesting stuff take place in this one as Tilly tries to wake up from the curse. Victoria tries to stop that from happening. There's some intense flashback scenes and more. To start things off, they let us know that episode 4 is entitled, "Beauty." In their main description, they revealed that it will be Halloween in the new Hyperion Heights town. In light of this fact, Victoria is going to force Ivy to take Lucy out for a trick-or-treat run. So, it doesn't sound like anything too wild will go on with that particular storyline.
