Daniel Koch was born on March 24, 1982, in Wheeling, West Virginia. From an early age, he displayed a flair for creativity, often crafting artwork and creating thematic events for friends.
In 2002, Daniel moved to New York City with his twin brother to study filmmaking at NYU (CSPS). During his studies, he wrote, directed, and shot two short films on 35mm: "A Pair of Hearts" and "My Malignant Me."
In 2013, he gained recognition as the star of his own reality television series, "Playing with Fire," which aired on the E! Network, celebrating his influential contributions to the hospitality industry in New York City.
Today, Daniel finds joy in documentary storytelling and has a passion for writing fictional mystery dramas. He and his brother co-own an independent film production company, "Day & Night Pictures", with locations in New York and Atlanta. The company is dedicated to developing and producing original scripted and unscripted content, with a strong focus on elevated storytelling across various platforms and formats.
