A stage play adaptation of Izumi Ito's comedy manga series The Demon Girl Next Door (known as Machikado Mazoku in Japan) is set to perform at the Ginsa Hakuhinkan theater in Tokyo from January 9 to 15, 2025. The manga has been serialized in Houbunsha's four-panel manga magazine Manga Time Kirara Carat since June 2014, and the first season of the manga's TV anime adaptation started airing in Japan in July 2019. The stage play is included in the manga's 10th and anime's fifth anniversary project . Naru Kawamoto, who runs the theater company “Jisoku Ni Yon Rock,” will serve as writer and director. He recently worked on a stage play adaptation of Yasuhisa Kubo's comedy manga series You're Being Summoned, Azazel in 2023.
