Anthony Mackie confirms filming for Twisted Metal season 2 has begun with new images on Instagram. Mackie and co-star Stephanie Beatriz will return, his images also containing a logo suggesting season 2 as Twisted Metal 2. The last image hints at the return of the clown Sweet Tooth in the upcoming season.

Twisted Metal star Anthony Mackie has provided a major filming update for season 2 of the action comedy series, indicating what to expect from the show moving forward. Twisted Metal season 2 was confirmed not long after season 1 aired, the series becoming a major hit for Peacock and getting favorable reviews from critics for both its action-packed storyline and comedic moments. Although not much is known about how the story will progress moving forward, both Mackie and his co-star, Stephanie Beatriz, were confirmed to return as John Doe and Quiet respectively.

Tim Meadows and Stephanie Beatriz have been cast in key voice roles for the upcoming animated comedy/sci-fi feature film “Harry and the Mutant Mid-Century Furniture,” directed by Michael Skolnick (“The Gliksmans”).

Mack Williams of Pig Apple and Michael Bitton of 14th Street Music have also signed on as Animation Director and Composer, respectively.

A few days ago, the Peacock streaming service released a clip from their upcoming series Twisted Metal – which happens to be based on the popular video game franchise – that featured Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) as his character John Doe and Aew wrestler Joe Seanoa, a.k.a Samoa Joe, as iconic video game character Sweet Tooth, with Will Arnett (Arrested Development) providing the character’s voice. After a nearly 20-year hiatus from directing feature films, Duchovny is back behind the camera with this latest project, with a screenplay he adapted from his novel of the same name. Additionally, original music by Duchovny is featured in Bucky F*cking Dent.
