Biography

Esther Vlessing is a Toronto-born entrepreneur with a passion for the arts and story-telling. She was a student of Lewis Baumander's and Armstrong Acting Studio's for several years and continues to further her craft through studies in the Meisner technique. Her performance career started as a competitive gymnast where she trained alongside Olympians at the Academy of Sport and Fitness (2004). From there she went on to perform with Characters Theatre Troupe (2006), and later joined Steppin' Out Productions (2010). She made her first debut as an on-screen actress in State of Syn (2013), and most recently starred in TLN's television series Emerge (expected release 2023).

While completing her degree at U of T, she performed at U of T's HartHouse Theatre (2012-2016). She completed her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto (2016) and attended Harvard University to study economics.
