Joe Gallagher made his feature film debut in 2019's "Pledge." Of his performance, Alice Field (Ready Steady Cut) observed, "for me, the one who is most in my mind now, two days after watching is Joe Gallagher, who played Ben, an additional pledge to the main group."
He has starred in "Abject," a horror two-hander from prolific Buffalo indie filmmaker David R. Williams, and Slamdance official selection "Citizen Weiner," for which he also co-wrote the story. In 2025, he starred in Alexandra Warrick's "YMG," which was BizzaroLand Film Festival's best picture winner. He has also produced a handful of feature films under the banner of Manhattan Movie Studio, a start up production and distribution house.
