Valerie McGowan

Valerie is an award-winning executive producer and former AmeriCorps volunteer who has worked on a range of feature films and documentaries. She has spent the last 10 years developing, producing, and marketing high-quality content for networks such as Netflix, Fox Searchlight, Walden Media, Lionsgate, Universal Studios, and others. She previously founded and serves as lead Social Impact Producer at Birchwood Consulting, which focuses on grassroots distribution and marketing for documentaries and feature films. Her dedication to making films and television that foster discussion and motivate people toward positive action has resulted in Anora Entertainment, a woman-led, ethically-driven production company.
