Chris Welch is a writer, director, former stand-up comedian and retired professional wrestler. He has written a number of film and TV screenplays, including comedy mockumentary "Skin Cleaners" which is in development with Unstoppable Film & TV.
His feature screenplay "Spandex & Fake Tan", a professional wrestling underdog comedy, was selected as a finalist in the 2017 BlueCat Screenplay competition.
Chris was a regular performer on the Stand Up circuit between 2015-2017, winning two gong shows during this time. He was also an active Wrestling performer for over 10 years and appeared on international television in 2018. He has written, produced and directed a number of live wrestling events.
Chris is working on a number of film and television projects.
