Eurico Gaspar Dutra was born on 18 May 1883 in Cuiabá, Mato Grosso, Brazil [ex-Empire of Brazil]. He was married to Carmela Teles Leite. He died on 11 June 1974 in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro [ex-Guanabara], Brazil.
He was a Brazilian military leader and politician who served as the 16th president of Brazil from 1946 to 1951. He was the first president of the Fourth Brazilian Republic, which followed the Vargas Regime.
