Neon has unveiled the official trailer and teaser poster for “The Actor,” an upcoming noir drama directed by Duke Johnson, known for co-directing the animated film “Anomalisa.” This marks Johnson’s live-action directorial debut. The film is set to hit theaters on March 14, 2025.

Based on Donald E. Westlake’s 2010 novel “Memory,” “The Actor” stars André Holland as Paul Cole, a man who finds himself stranded in a mysterious small town with no recollection of his identity or how he arrived there. As he starts anew, he forms a relationship with local costume designer Edna, portrayed by Gemma Chan. As fragments of his past gradually surface, Paul endeavors to uncover his true self, navigating a reality where time is elusive and appearances are deceptive.

Stars Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who) and Jessica Raine will return as Gideon and Lucy for the supernatural crime thriller. The series follows Ava (Cuoco) and Nathan (Messina), a married couple feeling the weight of life and work amidst endless bills, marriage squabbles, mounting work pressures, and a baby on the way. The Devil's Hour season 2 offers the first look at the return of Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi in the Prime Video supernatural thriller with an almost perfect Rotten Tomatoes score. Created by Tom Moran with fellow Doctor Who alum Peter Moffat as showrunner, the six-episode show debuted in October 2022. It follows a social worker who wakes up every day at 3:33 Am, experiencing strange visions at the so-called devil's hour. It has already been renewed up to a third season, which will be its last.

RadioTimes.com has now unveiled the first photos of The Devil's Hour season 2, ahead of the release of new episodes on October 18.

The images offer a glimpse of The Devil's Hour cast returning to their roles. That includes Capaldi as Gideon, the mysterious criminal that can remember his future. Jessica Raine, meanwhile, plays the central social worker. Nikesh Patel plays Ravi, a detective with a fear of blood.

As revealed via The Radio Times, a first look at Season 2 of The Devil's Hour has been released, with the underrated Prime Video series ready to return after two years. In the images, five of the main cast of Season 2 are seen immersed in the intriguing mystery that unfolds in Season 2. The first season of the “spectacularly dark” thriller series The Devil’s Hour (watch it Here) launched exclusively on Amazon’s Prime Video on October 28th – and the show has been so successful during its first month of release, Amazon has announced that they’ve ordered two more seasons! The Devil’s Hour season 2 will begin filming sometime in early 2023.

From rising British writer Tom Moran, The Devil’s Hour is a UK original that tells the story of Lucy Chambers (Raine), a woman who wakes up every night at exactly 3.33Am, in the middle of the so-called devil’s hour between 3Am and 4Am.

Lucy Chambers’ eight-year-old son is withdrawn and emotionless. Her mother speaks to empty chairs. Her house is haunted by the echoes of a life that isn’t her own. Here is the natural reaction to watching even just the first episode of “Blood Drive”: “This is seriously on ad-supported television?” Officially, Syfy isn’t subject to FCC rules, but what this weird-ass show gets away with goes well beyond anything you might have ever seen before.

At first, “Blood Drive” seems like a “Death Race 2000” riff with an important and bloody new angle, focusing on a cross-country car race across a dystopian America where all the cars are fueled by human blood.

But the premise pushes well beyond that basic twist. Let’s be completely clear here: The guys at Starz Standards and Practices would probably watch “Blood Drive” and say to themselves, “This seems a little excessive.” Hell, Quentin Tarantino or John Waters might blush.

And that’s by design.

First announced way back in the summer of 2015, the Syfy/Universal co-production Blood Drive is a high-octane, over-the-top scripted series in the classic grindhouse movie tradition. Set in a near-apocalyptic future, the 13-episode series centers around La’s last good cop who is forced to join a twisted, gory cross-country death race – with cars powered by blood (Blood Car meets Death Race anyone?). Blood Drive stars Alan Ritchson, Thomas Dominique, Christina Ochoa, Marama Corlett, and Colin Cunningham; the shows comes from James Roland (Weed) who is a co-executive producer on the show.
