The Secrets of the Silent Witch novel series debuted in 2020 and has since seen a growth in popularity. Written by Matsuri Isora, the series has been adapted as a light novel series, a manga series and, starting later this year, an anime series.

We have already seen a lot of visuals and received tons of information about the anime adaptation, but the producers have decided to do a weekly reveal event that is becoming more common in the world of anime.

Namely, each Saturday, the producers are going to reveal a new cast member for the upcoming anime and we are happy to report on that.

We have already written about the anime adaptation of the Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentōshō novel series by Moto’o Nakanishi. The fantasy series has been enjoying solid success and the anime was announced back in 2021.

But, it wasn’t until March 31, 2025 that the anime adaptation of Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentōshō actually premiered after almost four years of waiting. And while the fans finally got their moment, it was still an unusually long waiting period.

Now that the anime is finally here, though, we can concentrate on the good news and we can confirm that the producers have revealed a series of new cast members who will be appearing starting with Episode 2.

The official anime website and accounts for I'm Living With an Otaku Neet Kunoichi?! today unveiled a new key visual and two incoming cast members before the comedy series' second cour commences on April 5. Mayu Sagara and Yurie Kozakai will voice Kira Ventor and Kurena Ventor, respectively, who appear at the top of the visual below. The upcoming Secrets of the Silent Witch anime, based on the light novel series by Matsuri Isora and Nanna Fujimi, is gearing up for its 2025 release. A new teaser has been shared, along with a visual and additional cast details.

Among the new voices joining the show are Hitomi Nabatame as Nero, Junichi Suwabe as Louis Miller, and Saya Aizawa as Monica Everett.

The anime is being produced by Aniplex and is based on the series that originally launched in February 2020 on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. Kadokawa began publishing the novels in June 2021, with the eighth volume released in August 2024.

The story centers around Monica Everett, a young witch with the rare ability to perform Voiceless Magic. While she’s celebrated as the heroine who defeated the legendary Black Dragon, Monica is secretly very shy.
