producer, best selling author, lecturer & anthropologist using education, television, media, film, theater & other visual & melodic art forms to communicate sociocultural & divine information.
Star is the CEO & Founder of "Refined Being Media Arts & Communications" & She is the Author of International Best Selling Book "The Refined Being".
Star has a television & international stage background in acting, musical theatre productions, vocal performance, dance & modeling. She has trained & performed with other prominent people. She reigned as "Miss African-American Cultural", "Miss Infinity Southern California" & started pageants early as the reigning "Miss Teen Los Angeles".
Education/Training-Star graduated from UCLA School of Television, Film, Media & Theatre & Anthropology departments, TV Journalism credentials from UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism w/UC Center Sacramento, Completing work @ USC, Studied @ California Institute of the arts & more.
Star also has worked in leadership pertaining to media/arts, research, community affairs, military civilian work, humanitarianism, ambassadorship, church & finance. She has sat on the board of directors & councils for organizations, even positions created for her.
Star has been honored & has obtained many accolades & awards in all her above work & has accomplished much starting @ a very young age. Some of her first great awards are from the California State Assembly & Governor's awards for the arts, media, & community leadership. She has been featured in the news & media for her contributions. Star is gifted & many doors have been opened for her. Whatever is good which she touches, she succeeds. She also has been requested to go through a program to become a United States Ambassador to a foreign nation working in Media, but has not accepted the amazing offer.
Language/Arts/Culture-Star loves to travel the world & has a gift of connecting w/people across cultures & different backgrounds. When time allows, she enjoys hosting foreign exchange students. She has also studied Spanish & Arabic, including languages her students shares w/her & her family in French, Danish, Swedish, Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese, Afrikaan & other tribal languages etc. & she shares English with them.
Star has gradually become notable, a household name & a leading light, respected & admired by many. She has also built many relationships with other notable & influential people. She has a heart & care for those who are considered marginalized & gives an opportunity for them to tell their stories as well.
Star loves God "Yahweh" & her greatest blessing on earth is being a mom to her two wonderful young sons.
