Born in Honolulu to parents Greg and Deborah Sawai, along with sister Lyssa, and bred on his grandparents' kaukau,(Hawaiian Food), Saxon showed a talent in performing arts at an early age. Whether it was Karate, Hula, Church Choir, or Breakdancing Saxon was always on stage and at the center of attention.
The Hawaiian Japanese actor attended the prestigious Kamehameha high school where he would join the wrestling team, dance hula, and connect with his Native Hawaiian culture.
In college he performed at the Polynesian Cultural Center, served as the President of the Hip Hop Club, and would attain a degree in International Business Management. Saxon would go on to have a very successful business career. Eventually, he decided to follow his heart in pursuing a life in film.
Memorable roles include playing Akira Otani in the WW2 reenactment documentary "Voices Beyond the Barbed Wire, Daniel Hong on Hawaii 5-0, and Nick Landry on FOX's 9-1-1.
As a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt and Kempo Karate Black Belt, Saxon continues to practice, train, and teach martial arts on a regular basis.
When not on set, Saxon can be found traveling the world and eating sushi! Multi-talented and successful, Saxon is destined to become one of the "Must Watch" stars for the coming years.
