The Masked Singer season 12 was the best in the show's history, and there are several reasons why it surpassed every other installment of the mystery celebrity singing competition series. The Masked Singer season 12 welcomed back adored host Nick Cannon, along with beloved panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora. Rita took Nicole Scherzinger's place on the panel for the second season in a row, while Nicole starred as Norma Desmond in Broadway's Sunset Boulevard.
The Masked Singer season 12 welcomed three groups to the competition, who competed in several different theme nights. In addition, the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell returned, and the panelists used it to save Kobie Turner's Goo from elimination. The show culminated with a quarterfinal, a semi-final, and a final round, in which the two remaining contestants, runner-up Mario's Wasp and winners Boyz II Men's Buffalos, competed in an epic battle for the Golden Mask Trophy.

Were you as surprised as we were with that twist on the season 12 premiere of “The Masked Singer” when one Buffalo turned into a herd? We were wowed by their harmonies on the classic Cutting Crew track “(I Just) Died In Your Arms.” These three clearly make their livings by raising their voice in song. But we don’t think that they are one of the groups mentioned by the judges: B2K (Jenny), Earth, Wind & Fire (Rita) or 3/4 of 98 Degrees (Robin).

Billy Baker may be gone, but his impact will linger in Beverly Hills and especially South Crenshaw.
Billy may be resting in peace now, but as All American Season 5 Episode 12 showed, everyone else was coping with their grief in their ways.
And, not surprisingly, the one who was having the most trouble dealing was Laura.
That's understandable. Things had been going great for her and Billy. And his death was so unexpected and just so Billy.
The community's coach went back on a bus teetering on the edge of a cliff because he was convinced that Jabari was still on it.
Jabari's alive, and Billy's dead. That's a lot of guilt to heap on a young man just about to graduate from high school, largely thanks to Billy's guidance.
Laura blowing up just because Jabari showed up to pay his respects at the repast certainly didn't help matters on that front.

Boyz II Men members Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman were doin’ just fine on the Sunday, July 31 edition of Celebrity Family Feud until they reached the end of the road with a pair of tragically wrong answers. With just nine points away from a win, all the boys had to do was answer the simple question: Name a month of the year with five letters. Sounds simple, right? Well, not quite. The pressure of the moment clearly got to Morris and Stockman as both men hilariously screwed up their chance to win big. “July,” answered Morris, clearly one letter short of the required answer. Meanwhile, Stockman went the other way, answering “August,” giving a month with one too many letters. Both men instantly knew they had messed up big time, and if they didn’t realize, Steve Harvey‘s shocked and baffled reaction certainly clued them in. “Awwww, damn. I straight up thought that — oh,...

Boys II Men’s Shawn Stockman is back on Let’s Make a Deal in the Thursday, April 28 episode, and TV Insider has an exclusive sneak peek of him singing — but he’s not alone! With a contestant facing a decision, host Wayne Brady comes up with a solution. “Well, Shawn can give you the mini curtain all he wants. I’m still going to stick with my small box,” he says. “So I’ll tell you what: Why don’t you give me a chance to at least plead my case?” Announcer Jonathan Mangum is the one to suggest they battle, and Stockman agrees, as does Brady, pointing out “Boys II Men set the groundwork for so much.” After model Tiffany Coyne shows them each what they’re singing about — what’s behind the mini curtain and what’s in the small box — the two face off in a song battle.

Spoiler Alert: This post contains details about Tuesday’s Live in Front of a Studio Audience, which aired live on the East Coast on ABC.
After four decades, cameras rolled once again on the classic ’70s/’80s comedies, Diff’rent Strokes and The Facts of Life, as part of ABC’s Live in Front of a Studio Audience tonight.
Airing live on the East Coast, the telecast unfolded smoothly, with no major line flubs and only a few uneven moments, which passed quickly. Soon-to-be-100-year-old TV legend Norman Lear, appearing with Jimmy Kimmel, who produced the third outing in the Live series, dropped an f-bomb that had to be bleeped. The curse word toward the top of the show seemed to be a staged, though amusing, element.

A duet between Mickey Guyton, one of the “CMT Artists of the Year” honorees, and guest artist Yola on the title track of Guyton’s new “Remember Her Name” album brought memorable vocal firepower to the annual show’s 2021 in-person resumption, broadcast live from Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center Wednesday night.
Other highlights included Randy Travis being emotionally saluted in speech by Garth Brooks and in song by Kane Brown, and Chris Stapleton getting the tribute treatment from Boyz II Men, again making explicit the oft-implicit, historical country/R&b connection.
After being introduced by dancer Misty Copeland, who described Guyton as “a pioneer,” Guyton expressed gratitude for her Breakthrough Artist of the Year award from the network. “Y’all, look at God,” said Guyton. “When the Lord closes a door, somewhere he opens a window. Crab had a real-life medical scare during Wednesday’s fifth episode of “The Masked Singer” and had to be evacuated from the stage. “I gotta take this off,” he told a crew member as the panelists were just about to critique his performance of “Give it to Me Baby” by Rick James. When asked if he was sure, the blue-steel crustacean responded, “Take it off. It’s hot. I can’t breathe.” The reality TV show cut to a commercial as he recovered backstage away from prying eyes. Minutes later, a cooled-down Crab returned to the stage to hear the judges’ comments.
