The press tour for Marvel's Thunderbolts is beginning to ramp up, and the full cast recently sat down with Fandango to discuss a number of topics, including the intense stuntwork performed by Florence Pugh.
Not to be outdone, David Harbour also elaborated on the demanding physical training he underwent to portray Red Guardian.
Said Pugh, "I got on all the emails, becuase it was in the script, and slowly as we got closer to shooting they were like, 'Yeah, I don't think this is going to happen. It's goint to be a crazy insurance ordeal. And obviously, we're not goint to throw Fp off the second-tallest building in the world.'"
"And I was like Wtf, of course we are. We have to do that. So I was being a sassy Karen, emailing Kevin [Feige], saying 'Kevin, this is going to do wonders for the press tour. We have to do this.

Why would anyone ever call the Thunderbolts instead of The Avengers? That's the question the cast of the upcoming MCU film attempts to answer in a new interview with Fandango.
"It would mean a lot more to us," joked Red Guardian actor David Harbour. "A win, would mean a lot more to us."
Yelena Belova actress Florence Pugh also added, "And it's not conventional. We're going to find a really awful way of doing it. There will be plenty of broken walls, and property damage but we'll get it done with style"
"And personality," chimed in the rest of the cast.

Alright, let’s talk about Thunderbolts*, Marvel’s big team-up movie that’s kinda like The Suicide Squad but dressed in MCU seriousness. Fans are hyped because hey, it’s Marvel, and even with a few recent duds, the faithful are still holding onto hope. And yeah, post-Deadpool & Wolverine, the excitement meter’s rising again.
Wyatt Russell, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, and Florence Pugh in Thunderbolts* (Credits- Marvel)
But here’s the thing: Thunderbolts* is walking on a pretty wobbly tightrope. It’s got a stacked cast of morally grey misfits like Bucky and Yelena, a dark, edgy vibe, and big crossover energy, yet there’s this lingering feeling that Marvel might’ve tossed in a few too many wild cards. Someone really thought it was a great idea to throw Sentry, a dude with the power of a million exploding suns, into a squad full of glorified super spies.

Shortly after last year's San Diego Comic-Con, a video posted to the Marvel Entertainment YouTube channel confirmed that Geraldine Viswanathan is playing a character called "Mel" in Thunderbolts*.
The Drive-Away Dolls star has previously said that she's Valentina Allegra de Fontaine's "little right-hand man." Fans soon put the pieces together and concluded that Viswanathan must have been cast as the McU's Melissa Gold, a.k.a. Songbird.
A new TV spot for Thunderbolts* has been released by Marvel Studios today. It features a shot of Viswanathan that once again points to her playing Songbird thanks to what looks like a "songbird" necklace.
Whether she'll have the same supersonic sound abilities as her comic book counterpart remains to be seen.
Unfortunately, this is likely another example of Marvel Studios plucking a relatively obscure character from the source material - who admittedly has significant ties to the Thunderbolts - before reimagining them.

We’ve had heroes. We’ve had villains. We’ve had morally ambiguous wizards who accidentally break the multiverse because they didn’t want to say goodbye to their girlfriends. But what have we been seriously missing lately? Unhinged, unpredictable, anti-heroes.
Marvel’s upcoming Thunderbolts* film is shaping up to be a delicious buffet of that chaos, featuring a squad of slightly less homicidal baddies. We’re talking Red Guardian, Bucky, Yelena, Ghost, and people who’ve probably been kicked out of a group chat at some point.

Marvel Studios has released the first clip from Thunderbolts*, which finds a down-in-the-dumps Yelena Belova getting ready to jump off a building. She's on a mission but doesn't seem overly enthused to be there.
Yelena talks about having a "void" inside her, and we're sure it's no coincidence that an ominous piece of music plays at that moment (given who the team will face during the final act).
The visuals here are undeniably impressive, and Beef director Jake Schreier clearly favoured practical effects for what looks to be a very different MCU movie.
Thunderbolts* has all the makings of a very special blockbuster, though we recently learned it's targeting a so-so debut at the North American box office in the $63 million - $77 million range, with a $70 million goal. That's a little on the low side, though there's time to turn things around.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is known for surprising the audience with shocking storylines and inconceivable plotlines. And in recent times, apart from the widely loved and enthralling blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine, the most surprising film that the superhero juggernaut has announced is the upcoming Thunderbolts*.
Since the Robert Downey-starrer Iron Man kicked off the MCU nearly two decades ago, Marvel Studios has churned out over 30 films, several series, some Holiday specials, and has grossed billions worldwide and cementing its place at the top of the line when it comes to the comic book genre. Now, continuing the saga is the upcoming film starring a group of unlikely ‘heroes’ who previously appeared in a more morally gray fashion in the MCU.

Disney and Marvel Studios are getting ready to bring back the world's most destructive antiheroes in the upcoming MCU film Thunderbolts*, which is set to feature some action-heavy stunts. Thanks to a behind the scenes featurette, we now have a look at one of these stunts, involving Florence Pughjumping off the second-highest building in the world. From the looks of the featurette, though, Pugh didn't seem to mind the skies.
The video, shared by Marvel on its social media platforms, shows Pugh and the stunt team arriving in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to prepare for a jump off Merdeka 118; at 2,227 feet high, it is the second-tallest building in the world, behind only Dubai's Burj Khalifa. One would think that there would be some nerves jumping off a building that is over 100 floors, but not for Pugh. "I love heights!" Pugh says in the video. "I've been excited about this since I...

The summer movie season is nearly upon us and it can't come soon enough. The first chunk of 2025 has been very rough at the box office. Even after "A Minecraft Movie" posted a $314 million global opening, the domestic box office is trailing about 5% behind 2024. We're also miles behind pre-pandemic levels. So, can the Marvel Cinematic Universe help get us back on the right track with "Thunderbolts" in May? In the early going, it looks like the answer could be yes, but it's going to rely on Marvel delivering a crowd-pleaser of old, as opposed to something more divisive.
Early tracking suggests that director Jake Schreier's "Thunderbolts" will open between $63 and $77 million domestically, per The Hollywood Reporter. So we're looking at over/under $70 million, which would certainly be on the lower end for a summer MCU title. That said, this is also a new franchise without many A-list characters to speak of.

Black Widow's big twist was that Taskmaster was a she, not a he. In place of Tony Masters, Olga Kurylenko played Antonia Dreykov, the brainwashed daughter of the man who controlled the Red Room.
Freed from her father's influence, Antonia found refuge with the movie's heroes and will return in Thunderbolts* next month. A recently revealed character bio, meanwhile, confirmed that "After being freed from the grips of the Red Room, Antonia Dreykov aka Taskmaster, has found a new life working for Valentina Allegra De Fontaine."
"When a routine mission goes awry, Taskmaster will have to use all the skills and weapons in her arsenal to evade Valentina's trap," it added.
Much has been said about Taskmaster's role in Thunderbolts*, with the prevailing theory that she's an early victim of The Sentry/The Void. Another popular theory suggests the anti-hero is allied with Val and will betray the rest of the movie's heroes.

We haven't seen Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts since her emotional final scenes in Avengers: Endgame, but it sounds like Marvel Studios is planning to bring Tony Stark's widow back to the MCU.
According to scooper Mttsh, Paltrow is now in talks to reprise her role for an upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe project. Either Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars (or both) are the most likely possibilities, but there's a chance Pepper could show up in an upcoming Disney+ series.
Paltrow debuted as Tony Stark's (Robert Downey Jr.) love-interest Pepper Potts in the first Iron Man movie, and has since made several notable Marvel Cinematic Universe appearances, ultimately getting the chance to suit-up as Rescue in Endgame.
Despite donning armor of her own and getting more screen-time than she had in a lot of her previous MCU appearances, Paltrow recently revealed that she still hasn't watched the movie.

Thunderbolts* brings the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase Five to a dramatic climax as the titular group of former villains spring into action to try and save the world. Though the upcoming superhero blockbuster is on track for a respectable opening weekend at the box office, it's set to trail the most recent MCU offering, Captain America: Brave New World.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Thunderbolts* is projected to earn between $63 million and $77 million domestically, with the consensus landing in the middle at $70 million. Even if Thunderbolts* reaches the highest point in that range, the Phase Five finale would still trail Brave New World, which grossed $88.5 million during its opening weekend. Brave New World has earned over $413 million worldwide since its Feb. 14 release, making it the sixth-lowest-grossing MCU film ever.

Thunderbolts* has all the makings of one of Marvel Studios' best movies. However, that doesn't mean it has the widespread appeal needed at a time when many people seem to be suffering from "superhero fatigue."
The movie will feature characters from Black Widow, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and, er, Ant-Man and The Wasp for a team-up that's expected to set the stage for us to meet the New Avengers.
However, Marvel Studios might want to consider revealing what the asterisk stands for sooner rather than later, based on early box office tracking data shared by The Hollywood Reporter.

It’s a virtual given that the 2025 summer box office will get off to bigger start than last year when Marvel’s Thunderbolts* flies into theaters over the first weekend of May. However, the antihero comic book pic still has its work cut out for it.

Doctor Victor von Doom will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe next year, as the lead villain of "Avengers: Doomsday." If you haven't heard, the man behind the metal will be none other than former Tony Stark actor, Robert Downey Jr.
To prepare the world for "Doomsday," the big Marvel Comics crossover event of 2025 is "One World Under Doom." The premise, that Doom actually succeeds in taking over the world and does such a good job the heroes are unsure how to oppose him, is similar to 1987's "Emperor Doom".
Back in 2024's "Blood Hunt," Doom became the Sorcerer Supreme, but he didn't need a magic spell to win people's hearts and minds. He's making the sweeping, egalitarian changes that other people with power refuse to, demanding only absolute obedience in return. The general state of things is so bad...

Cameras are now rolling on Marvel Studios' next big event movie, Avengers: Doomsday, and a new report is claiming to reveal some intriguing details about the scenes currently being filmed.
According to scooper Mttsh, shooting is now underway at a practical set for the X-Mansion, aka the Xavier Institute. In the comics, this location is the private estate of Professor Charles Xavier and serves as the X-Men's base of operations and training site.
No photos from this set have been shared online (yet), but we have heard that the sequence being filmed shows the mansion "under attack."
The recent Doomsday cast announcement included members of the original X-Men line-up, Sir Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellen, Rebecca Romijn and James Marsden. Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Halle Berry (Storm) and Famke Janssen (Jean Grey) are also expected to appear, but have not been confirmed.

We're pretty sure this is where "Bob" is being housed, though we could easily imagine the movie ending with the New Avengers using it as their base of operations.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who plays the morally slippery and stylish Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (aka Val), recently learned during an interview that her name was missing from the Avengers: Doomsday cast reveal. And her reaction? Let’s just say she’s got questions—and maybe a few firings to arrange.
During a Fandango interview promoting Thunderbolts* alongside co-stars Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, and Hannah John-Kamen, the Veep star was informed that she and Kurylenko were the only members of their ensemble who weren’t listed among the many names given “chairs” during the highly publicized Doomsday livestream event.
“Wait, what are you talking about?” Louis-Dreyfus responded, confused. When the interviewer clarified the situation, that classic wit kicked in. Or did it?

Over the weekend, a first look at Robert Downey Jr. as Avengers: Doomsday's Doctor Doom leaked online. While we can't say for sure whether it's the real deal, we have good reason to believe it is and the McU's take on the character's MCU...well, it's not looking great.
We'll get to that a little later in this feature, but real or not, it still got us thinking. As many of you pointed out when that image surfaced shortly after Downey's 60th birthday, it's not like this would be the first time Marvel Studios has dropped the ball on an iconic villain.
In this feature, we're looking back at some of the most noteworthy examples of comic book baddies where something was lost in translation during the journey from page to screen.
You can find out who rocked a design every bit as bad as Doom by clicking the "Next"/"View List" buttons below.

Marvel Studios has clearly made a point that rumors of its jaded, decrepit demise being imminent, may have been exaggerated, because it is hard to believe that anyone capable of having millions of people enthralled by a row of chairs is in some kind of death throe. However, Captain America: Brave New World’s lackluster box office – in Marvel terms – was a little bit worrying for the future of non-Avengers movies. But perhaps the franchise’s newest group of somewhat dubious heroes could be about to come and save the day.
Thunderbolts* - yes, it still has that unexplained and highly theorized asterisk in place – is set to arrive in cinemas next month, but new details of a text screening seem to suggest that the MCU is onto a winner with its most unlikely saviors. As shared by Reddit user Spiritual-Smoke-4605:

The Marvel Cinematic Universe's next blockbuster, Thunderbolts*, lands a release date in China as anticipation grows for the climactic Phase Five finale. However, the film may be the last Marvel movie to enjoy such a privilege for a long time, with China reportedly considering banning the showing of American films amid growing political tensions with the U.S.
Via X, Thunderbolts* released a poster showcasing the titular group of former villains/antiheroes while confirming that the superhero tentpole will be released in China on Apr. 30, two days before it hits cinemas stateside. However, a report from Bloomberg notes that multiple Chinese outlets have posted identical measures that government officials are seriously considering hitting back at new tariff threats issued by U.S. President Donald Trump. Citing unidentified sources close to the situation, among the new measures is "reducing or banning the import of U.S. films."

Tom Hiddleston has had to play it very close to the vest when asked about potentially reprising the role of Loki up until now, but following the recent Avengers: Doomsday cast announcement, he can finally discuss his imminent return as the God of Mischief.
"Very excited," Hiddleston told TikTok star Max Balegde when asked how he's feeling about his Doomsday involvement. "It’s been an extraordinary chapter in my life playing Loki, and it's not over yet."
"It's really remarkable, actually, that I can talk about it because mostly I'm in a position of knowing and not being able to say anything," he added. "It’s strange, you know you have to be disciplined about carrying this secret around."
Though we pretty much figured Hiddleston would be back at some point, his Doomsday casting was at least somewhat surprising given the events of the recent second season of Loki.

Hugh Jackman has returned as Wolverine... for an 8 hour, 30 minute breathing exercise video.
Marvel released the video, which is titled "Wolverine Breathing Exercise | Marvel Ambiance | Deadpool & Wolverine," to its official YouTube channel in support of National Stress Awareness Month, and it's literally just eight plus hours of Jackman breathing menacingly - until he strikes an iconic pose around the halfway mark.
As Wolvie fans will no doubt be aware, Jackman is paying homage to Frank Miller's cover art for Chris Claremont's Wolverine #1 (1982).
There's been some speculation that this video could be setting up some kind of big announcement relating to Logan, but it seems unlikely. Jackman is expected to reprise the role for Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars, but this is probably just an excuse to give some additional promotion to Deadpool and Wolverine, which is now streaming on Disney+.

Thunderbolts* is Marvel Studios' next movie and less than a month away from hitting theaters. After Captain America: Brave New World underperformed, the hope is that it might put the MCU back on the right track ahead of The Fantastic Four: First Steps' release in July.
In the months leading up to Captain America: Brave New World's release, we started hearing worrying test screening reports and full plot breakdowns that, beyond some late post-production changes, proved accurate.
Now, a Redditor who gave an accurate assessment of that movie's quality before it was released in February is back with their take on Thunderbolts*. If these comments are to be believed, it may ultimately rank among Marvel Studios' best blockbusters.

Marking the conclusion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase Five, Thunderbolts* hopes to storm to much-needed critical and commercial success to ramp up anticipation before the Avengers film saga resumes. The upcoming superhero blockbuster's first reactions are in following recent test screenings, and they bode well for Marvel's latest big-screen entry.
According to trusted Hollywood scooper Jeff Sneider, the word he received from Thunderbolts* test screenings was that the film was deemed "pretty good" by those in attendance. However, he also claimed Disney isn't sure about its best marketing approach for the Jake Schreier movie. Meanwhile, Sneider stated fans should anticipate seeing the increased presence of the Thunderbolts in the MCU as they and The Fantastic Four become more prominent on-screen fixtures during Phase Six. "I’m told...

During Marvel Studios' five-and-a-half hour Avengers: Doomsday cast reveal, Thunderbolts* stars Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova), David Harbour (Red Guardian), Sebastian Stan (Bucky), Wyatt Russell (U.S. Agent), Lewis Pullman (The Sentry), and Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost) were all announced as starring in the movie.
The team is expected to assemble as the McU's "New Avengers," and in an interview to promote tickets going on sale, Pugh, Harbour, Russell, and John-Kamen all react to the news.
However, Julia Louis-Dreyfus' name wasn't on the back of a chair, meaning Valentina Allegra de Fontaine currently isn't set to appear in the movie led by Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom (you can get a possible first look at his take on Victor here). Needless to say, her reaction is priceless.

Tickets for Thunderbolts* have officially gone on sale, and Marvel Studios has just released a new minute-long sneak peek. In that, we hear The Sentry warn the movie's heroes, "I am The Void...there's no use fighting! You don't know what I'm capable of. Maybe I need to show you."
Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, meanwhile, explains, "He's invincible, all-powerful, [and] stronger than all of The Avengers rolled into one." Only the Thunderbolts can stop him, and in the process, bring Bob back to the side of the angels as The Sentry.
Thunderbolts* doesn't look set to be anything like what most fans imagined when it was first announced, and the Golden Guardian arguably remains the movie's biggest mystery. Well, that and whatever the deal is with Taskmaster.

A new trailer for Marvel's Thunderbolts* movie gives fans the best look yet at the film's villain. The Void, a malevolent alter-ego of Robert Reynolds (Sentry), will cause chaos for the Thunderbolts team in the new movie.
Shared by Marvel Studios on X, the minute-long trailer sees The Void descending upon the city as people instantly start vanishing. "I am The Void. There is no use fighting," the character says ominously. Julia Louis-Dreyfus' character, Valentina Allegdra de Fontaine, then teases The Void's abilities, saying, "He's invincible, all-powerful, stronger than all of the Avengers rolled into one." The footage then cuts to a silhouetted Void seemingly talking to Yelena Belova. "You don't know what I'm capable of," he says. "Maybe I need to show you."

Tickets for Thunderbolts* are now on sale, and several new posters have been released by companies like RealD 3D, Screen X, and 4Dx.
There are some terrific efforts here, though IMAX's stylish design might be the winner. And yes, even Taskmaster is given the chance to shine (despite popular fan theories that her screentime will be very limited).
There's no sign of The Sentry on these posters, but that was to be expected. With less than a month left before Thunderbolts* arrives in theaters, it seems the plan is to keep him under wraps until fans sit down to watch the movie in theaters. We have, however, seen the Golden Guardian in action figure form.

Tickets for Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts* are set to go on sale (and already are in the UK and Ireland) later today, and there's a good chance we'll get a final trailer to accompany the announcement. Whether it'll be completely different to the international teaser below remains to be seen, but this latest preview for the next MCU movie does feature quite a bit of new footage.
Though Bill Pullman's Sentry is still being kept in the shadows, we do see a lot more of "The Void" laying waste to the city as our team of misfit antiheroes do their best to prevent catastrophe.
The teaser also seems to confirm the rumor that Val (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) introduces Sentry to the world as "Earth's Mightiest Hero" as a replacement for the Mia Avengers, before something goes terribly wrong.

Two of the stars in Marvel’s next Avengers movie just shared an interesting update on the film. Both Florence Pugh and David Harbour were among the names Marvel Studios announced during its big chair stunt as cast members for Avengers: Doomsday, putting an end to the rumors that one (or both) of them would not survive Thunderbolts*. The end of the Doomsday casting announcement stream, which went on for more than five hours, confirmed that the film was now in production. However, while recently speaking to Entertainment Tonight to promote their upcoming Thunderbolts* film, both Pugh and Harbour were asked what they could tease about facing off against Robert Downey Jr. in Doomsday. Pugh said she couldn’t tease anything because “I haven’t read a script,” and Harbour jokingly responded, “Oh, you haven’t read it? It’s so good,” before busting out into a laugh and admitting...

We're less than a month away from Thunderbolts* arriving in theaters. While the movie is taking some big liberties with the comics, it remains undeniably intriguing.
Now, we finally have some additional details about the movie's leads.
At CinemaCon, footage shown to attendees confirmed that Bucky Barnes gives up being a Congressman. Now, we know it's because the hero realises that he can't rely on "the gears of government" to take down Valentina Allegra De Fontaine.
We also learn that Taskmaster is working for Val, as are U.S. Agent, Yelena Belova, and Ghost. Red Guardian, meanwhile, suits up upon learning that the CIA Director plans to kill his adoptive daughter.
Between this and what we've seen in the trailers, it seems Val has used them all for nefarious purposes and sends them after The Sentry in the hope "Bob" will kill them. That or they'll all take each other out.

We had assumed the concept art that was mistakenly shared online a few weeks ago (though the Russo Brothers denied that this had anything to do with the upcoming Avengers movies) featured the Doctor Doom armor and mask Robert Downey Jr. would don in Avengers: Doomsday, but it seems the actor's actual look as the iconic Marvel Comics villain will be very different.
Downey Jr. turned 60 this week, and the artwork on the invitation to his birthday bash in London has now found its way online. As you can see, the art shows Rdj in a green military-style suit, purple cape, and a gold mask that takes more than a little inspiration from Tony Stark's Iron Man armor.
This could simply be some artwork created for the invitation with nothing to do with the movie, but it might be very telling that Downey Jr. was photographed at his party sporting the same curly hairstyle.

Of all the actors announced as being part of last week's massive Avengers: Doomsday's cast reveal live-stream, Alan Cumming might have been the most surprising.
Cumming made his one and only appearance in 20th Century Fox's X-Men franchise as Kurt Wagner, aka Nightcrawler, in X2, but declined the studio's offer to reprise the role for the third film because he had no interest in sitting through the arduous makeup process again.
Wagner didn't show up in again until Kodi Smit-McPhee took over as a younger take on the character in X-Men: Apocalypse.
There's been some speculation that Cumming may only be lending his voice to a fully CG take on Nightcrawler, but the actor has now confirmed that this will not be the case, as he's already done a makeup test.
"Isn't it nuts? I'm excited and amazed," Cumming tells Collider when asked about his return for Doomsday.

The cast of Thunderbolts* has been officially added to Avengers: Doomsday, but is this team of heroes the "Thunderbolts" or the "New Avengers"? That asterisk stands for something, and the latter seems likely.
A new extended TV spot for Thunderbolts* has been released today, and it sees Bucky Barnes set out to assemble a reluctant team made up of characters from the likes of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Black Widow, and Ant-Man and The Wasp.
They need to assemble to battle The Sentry (The Void?) in a world without The Avengers. Can they possibly put their differences aside and prove themselves true heroes, given their respective pasts? That looks set to be a huge part of this movie's story.

"I've seen a lot of synopses out there that just say, as though it's a fact, that it's a team assembled by Valentina to go do bad things," Thunderbolts...

Hayley Atwell debuted as Steve Rogers' love-interest, Peggy Carter, in Captain America: The First Avenger, but the British actress got the opportunity to voice a very different take on the hero in the What If...? Animated series, before suiting-up as "Captain Carter" (a Captain America variant) for a brief appearance in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
We had previously heard that Atwell might be set to return as Peggy for Avengers: Doomsday, and THR has now confirmed that the Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning star has finalized her deal to reprise the role for both Doomsday and Secret Wars.
Atwell didn't get a chair in the recent Doomsday cast reveal, but we have been told that there will be another announcement at some point.
While speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast recently, Atwell expressed frustration with her Doctor Strange 2 cameo, which saw Carter unceremoniously dispatched by a rampaging Scarlet With.

Last week, Marvel Studios officially announced that production is underway on Avengers: Doomsday with a massive cast reveal live-stream that unveiled a new actor's name on the back of a director's chair every 12 minutes or so.
27 names were revealed by the end of the video, including members of the original X-Men cast, Sir Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellen, Rebecca Romijn and James Marsden.
Though it was generally assumed that the returning cast members from 20th Century Fox's X-Men era would play the same characters they had in the previous movies, the fact that the chairs only showed the actors' names and not who they'll appear as led to some speculation that they might be playing new heroes... or villains!

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige shared a message with CinemaCon attendees yesterday confirming that Avengers: Doomsday will begin shooting in a "few days." It's safe to assume Monday is the day, and that hopefully means more casting news is imminent.
Thunderbolts* stars Florence Pugh and David Harbour were on hand in Las Vegas to promote the movie, and last week, both their names were revealed to be part of the Avengers: Doomsday cast.
They won't be the only Thunderbolts we'll see assemble next year, though, as Sebastian Stan (Bucky), Wyatt Russell (U.S. Agent), Lewis Pullman (The Sentry), and Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost) were all also confirmed.
Asked what they're most excited about when it comes to sharing the screen with Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom, Pugh revealed, "I actually have no clue because I haven't read a script. No. So, I can't leak anything."
"Oh, you haven't read one?...

The upcoming Marvel Studios film Thunderbolts* is going to feature multiple actors from various previous Marvel films and TV shows reprising their roles. It’s got Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Wyatt Russell as US Agent, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, and Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster – and we’re going to have the chance to see these characters (back) in action very soon, as the film is set to reach theatres on May 2nd. Yesterday, we shared some oddball character posters and some new footage was unveiled at CinemaCon – and Marvel also released a short “making of” featurette that gives a look behind the scenes, with a special focus on the sequence that required Pugh to drop off the Merdeka 118, the second-tallest building in the world. You can watch the featurette at the bottom of this article.
