Alejandra Villafañe was a Colombian actress , model and beauty queen , recognized for having won the Miss Earth Colombia 2014 pageant , which gave her the right to represent Colombia in Miss Earth 2014.

She made her last appearances in 2023, in the film El yuppie y el guis and in the Amazon Prime Video series Manes.

Shortly later her pageant win Villafañe started appearing in numerous telenovelas and television series, initially playing minor roles, which became gradually more prominent.

She entered the Miss Earth 2014 competition, placing among the Top 16 semi-finalists within a group of almost one hundred women.

At the time of her death, she was engaged to actor Raul Ocampo.

In July 2023, she announced that she was diagnosed with cancer and had a surgery. In September, she revealed that she had started chemotherapy. On October 21, 2023, she died from aggressive form of a cancer in Bogotá at the age of 34.
