Jurassic World: Reino Ameaçado

Perguntas frequentes

This film is the sequel to Jurassic World - O Mundo dos Dinossauros (2015). It is the second installment of the planned Jurassic World trilogy and the fifth overall installment of the Jurassic Park film series. The film takes place shortly after the events of Jurassic World.

In the BBC news broadcast scene, the reporter says "Theoligists now predict an extension level of the event will kill off the last living dinosaurs on the planet", this indicates that the dinosaurs exist on Isla Nublar (Site A)) only. The website of the Dinosaur Protection Group (a website was launched by Universal Pictures) explained that Isla Sorna (Site B) is no longer inhabited. This was happened due to the following reasons :-

    1) InGen scientists illegally cloned and raised new species of dinosaurs, then they left them to roam the island, causing its ecosystem instability and affecting plant and animal population.

    2) The group also mentioned that poaching and illegal animal trafficking were the biggest problems for Sorna, those practices reduced the number of dinosaurs.

    3) The remaining dinsours have been shipped over to Isla Nublar before the events of Jurassic World (Jurassic World - O Mundo dos Dinossauros (2015)).

Since the island biosystem is devastated, the Nublar's dinosaurs can not be relocated to Sorna. In the novel canon, after the evacuation of Site B, the dinosaurs took over the island, some animals go extinct while others begin to exhibit strange behaviors. By the point the books have reached, the island is still inhabited by dinsours who are under increasing stress.

In the movie canon, some viewers believe that dinosaurs that jump into the sea, after the smoke, the lava, and the pyroclastic cover the whole Nublar Island, could survive if they swim to any nearby island (Isla Matanceros, Isla Muerta, Isla Pena or Isla Tacaño), assuming that they can swim long distance, similar to elephants and large mammals.

The Isla Sorna dinosaurs could have survived, as well as those from Isla Nublar that jumped into the sea if they managed to swim to any nearby island (Isla Sorna, Isla Matanceros, Isla Muerta, Isla Pena or Isla Tacaño).

In a deleted scene (a scene of a human skull inside the Indoraptor's cage), there is dialogue telling us how Eli Mills and the others figured out that it took three tranq darts to subdue the Indoraptor. Wheatley shoots only two.

It is a subject of fan debate over the internet regarding whether the Indoraptor can actually smile. A fan theory suggests that parts of the creature's DNA are from some lizards, Crocodilia particularly, since they are famous for their smile among the animal kingdom.

Other fans go even further by suggesting that some of the DNA parts are human. This theory is based on facts that the Indoraptor kills for joy and smiles out of amusement when it is planning for a deadly attack.

However, Colin Trevorrow confirmed that the Indoraptor's DNA make-up does not include any human DNA.

Though the Indoraptor is a hybrid of I. Rex and Velociraptor, it is not clear if it camouflages, hides its thermal signature, or detects the thermal signatures of others. Despite that, the 2 dinosaurs share many characteristics. Both are sociopaths and kill for sport (even their own species). Both are intelligent, unstable, and uncontrollable.

The difference is that the I. Rex kills without hesitation while the Indoraptor takes a few moments before killing because it understands emotion and prefers playing cat-and-mouse. Also, the I. Rex attacks every living creature while the Indoraptor focuses on humans, which can be seen in the final part of the film when the Indoraptor chases Owen, Claire, and Maisie instead of continuing the fight with Blue.

    1) Battle at Big Rock (Jurassic World: A Batalha de Big Rock (2019)): a short (eight-minute) film. It is the first live-action short film in the franchise. The film is set one year after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. In the film, a family goes on a camping trip at the fictional Big Rock National Park in northern California, approximately 20 miles from where dinosaurs from Fallen Kingdom were let loose. This film is available on Jurassic World's channel on Youtube.

    2) Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous (Jurassic World: Acampamento Jurássico (2020)): a CGI-animated series. Set before, during, and after the events of the film Jurassic World, the series follows six teenagers who become stranded on Isla Nublar after multiple dinosaurs escape their habitats. It consists of eight episodes and premiered on Netflix.

    3) Jurassic World: Dominion (Jurassic World: Domínio (2022)): an upcoming sequel to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the sixth film in the Jurassic Park franchise and will be the final film in the Jurassic World trilogy. Trevorrow (Colin Trevorrow) stated that the sequel would focus on the dinosaurs that were freed at the end of Fallen Kingdom, but it would not depict dinosaurs terrorizing cities. Trevorrow described Jurassic World 3 as being the Jurassic World film that would most closely match the tone of the franchise's first film, Jurassic Park (Jurassic Park: O Parque dos Dinossauros (1993)). He also said the film would not include any hybrid dinosaurs.

    4) In March 2020, it was announced that a live-action television series had entered development. The series, which takes place in the same continuity as the films, will be developed by Amblin Television, with Colin Trevorrow (Colin Trevorrow) and Steven Spielberg (Steven Spielberg) serving as producers.
