One of the greatest but perhaps unsung names in the history of genre cinema is Veronica Cartwright, a legend of sci-fi and horror going back to The Twilight Zone and The Birds (1963). She really gained attention in the late '70s after the one-two punch of Philip Kaufman's Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) and Ridley Scott's Alien (1979), where she played Lambert. Daniel Bielinski‘s upcoming survival thriller Hazel recently added The Walking Dead actress Laurie Fortier and SAG Nominated actor Stelio Savante to its previously announced cast of Madelyn Dundon (Getting Grace), David Michael Reardon (Running The Bases), Todd Terry (Breaking Bad), and Timothy E. Goodwin (Promising Young Woman).

Based on the true story of Hazel Miner, the upcoming film is written and directed by Bielinski. You can check out the official synopsis for the film below:

“A gentle March snowfall suddenly transforms into a furious blizzard. The first look poster and a full cast list for the upcoming Christmas film Saint Nick Of Bethlehem has finally been revealed. Written and Directed by Spencer Folmar and Daniel Roebuck, the Christmas film is scheduled to start filming later this year.

Saint Nick is based on the true story of Allen Smith, a man distraught over losing his son. He finds closure and discovers a new purpose when he takes on the role of Santa Claus in Bethlehem Pennsylvania, Christmas City, USA
