"Mohan Babu has played dual role - one as a good Samaritan and the other as a criminal. The veteran actor is excellent in both the roles. The main highlight of the movie is performances of Mohan Babu and Vishnu Manchu. The variation in expressions and different style of dialogue delivery to different roles shows his command on acting.
Vishnu has played the role of younger version of Mohan Babu's Sivaji character with ease.
Shriya appears in a brief role which reminds us of her "Manam" role. Nikhil Vimal as Mohan Babu's daughter is okay. In other roles, Siva Prasad and Anasuya are noticeable. The story of "Gayatri" has enough scope for a veteran actor like Mohan Babu to showcase his versatility. It seems the script is prepared to show the senior actor's acting prowess once again. His high voltage performance is mainstay of the movie."

"Dasari Sivaji(Mohan Babu) loses track of his daughter Gayathri(Nikhila Vimal) right after her birth. He puts in constant efforts to find out the well-being of his child but fails many a time. As time passes by, Gayatri develops hatred towards her father for not being with her in difficult times. After a point, she comes to know the actual story and finds out that her father is not the one to be blamed. Finally, Sivaji meets his daughter and just when everything seems to be going well, Gayatri Patel(Mohan Babu) enters the scene and pushes the family neck-deep into problems. Rest of the story is as to how Sivaji comes out of this tricky situation and saves his daughter.
Gayatri thrives on high voltage performance of Mohan Babu & Vishnu Manchu. The legendary actor is too good at portraying various emotions and this takes the movie to a whole new level. The variations that the senior actor shows while essaying two completely different roles is quite commendable. The movie runs on good family emotions as the lead cast does a decent job in making the film look more appealing.
Manchu Vishnu impresses with his ease in acting and fluent dialogue delivery. He performs to the best of his capabilities and brings a lot of depth to the film. All his combination scenes with Brahmanandam evokes decent laughs. Shreya does well within her limitations and supports Vishnu nicely. Comedians Ali and Prudhvi played their parts well."

"Mohan Babu, who has acted is some 550 films in his long career, is making a comeback with the film Gayatri. He plays a dual role, which he played many years back. The film is directed by Madan Ramineni of Pellaina Kothalo fame.
The flashback episode with Vishnu Manchu and Shriya Saran comes out well. Mohan Babu is better as the villain Gayatri Patel. The satirical dialogues on political leaders are hilarious.
Vishnu Manchu, who plays the younger Mohan Babu, performs well. Shriya Saran pairs with Vishnu in the flashback and she does so gracefully. Anasuya plays a journalist and a new girl Nikhila Vimala play Gayatri.
In the film the choice is yours, as Mohan Babu says in one of his dialogues."

Reasons to watch this movie: None.
Reasons to NOT watch this movie: Mohan Babu's Over-Action, Too much Mohan Babu (it feels like a movie to just boost his idiotic ego), Vishnu (seriously, when will he learn how to act?), horrible direction (every other minute, there's some stupid thing happening, which is absolutely unbelievable/unnecessary), horrible dialogues (actually, the film just had Mohan Babu's monologues. His hunger for screen space is extremely evident), etc. There are too many reasons that I won't list, because it's just a waste of time.
Honestly speaking, I just watched about the first 36 minutes, and I couldn't go on. I still watched it for 36 minutes, because I wanted to keep my mind open, and try and think that there's at least one frame in the movie which might be decent. But no, there wasn't even a single frame in the movie which was decent. Hats off to the director to make such a horrendous movie.
My humble message to Manchu family (except Manchu Manoj): Learn how to ACT, first. Start reading good scripts/stories. Be professional in your approach to movie making. Don't make fun of your own family, stop the self-praising, instead, let others see your work and then let them appreciate your work. If your work is truly a genuine masterpiece, you will be appreciated for the work.
In the end, I just want to say this -- "Don't watch this movie. Period."
