Robert Conrad is smarter tougher, and better than anyone else in the world. Just ask him..he will tell you, through the medium of a tv movie. Not only this, he is a succesful businessman, great student, and has a bigger heart than a bull elephant. See Conrad single handedly rescue a decaying football program, save the coaches job and bring huge amounts of money to the school. Finally there is the world famous Conrad sex appeal,in full display here. Watch the gorgeous young college coed decide that Conrads intensity and athletic prowess are just what her little hormones ordered. In the end learn about the most amazing Conrad feat of all, his honor, as he turns down a nubile young thing in order to preserve the sanctity of his blessed marriage. This movie is a comedy of hubris and self love that this planet has not see since the ancient Greek myths of Narcissus. Thank you Robert Conrad for showing the world what true macho is. Even if it is wrapped in a tiny little non-athletic package.

Conrad looks great for his age at that tine in this movie and its almost believable that a guy inhis early fifties could play with kids. Well if pro quarterbacks in this day and age can play the NFL in their fourties ,its not at all unbelievable that a talented 50 year old guy in great shape could play college football. Anyway if you are middle aged this is the movie that will make you feel a lot better .Conrad is likable and the story doesnt turn into too serious ,is always with tongue slightly in cheek. I enjoyed this and recommend it to anyone interested in this sort of movie.
