Beverly Hills' favorite House-husband has a new TV gig. Kyle Richards' other half and longtime supporting cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Mauricio Umanksy is set to star on a new Netflix reality show, the streamer announced on June 23. Titled Buying Beverly Hills, the eight-episode real estate series will follow "the agents and clients within Mauricio Umansky's The Agency in Beverly Hills, California," according to a press release. Exclusive: Harry Macqueen, writer-director of the critically acclaimed film Supernova starring Stanley Tucci and Colin Firth, has signed with Anonymous Content.

Released in January 2021 by Bleecker Street Films and Studio Canal, Macqueen’s second film Supernova recently was longlisted for the 2021 BAFTAs for Outstanding British Film and Best Supporting Actor. It was selected as one of only 12 films to physically screen at the BFI London Film Festival in 2020 and debuted to tremendous critical praise when it first premiered at the San Sebastian Film Festival that same year.

Hinterland Macqueen’s debut film as a writer-director was made for £10,000 was release in 2015 to critical acclaim. The film received ‘Best British Debut’ at Raindance Film Festival and ‘Best Debut Film’ at the Beijing International Film Festival.

Macqueen, also an actor, started his career in entertainment as an actor, playing John Willard in Richard Linklater’s Me And Orson Welles and Jed Quinn in the hit show EastEnders.

Searchlight Pictures and Sam Mendes are teaming on his next project as the company has boarded Empire of Light, with Olivia Colman in negotiations to star. This will mark Mendes first film since his Oscar-nominated 1917 and the first time he and Colman have worked together.

Empire of Light also reteams Mendes with cinematographer Roger Deakins, who won an Oscar for his work on 1917.

Mendes also penned the script for the love story set in and around a beautiful old cinema on the South Coast of England in the 1980s. Mendes and Pippa Harris will produce via Neal Street Productions. The project will be overseen by Matthew Greenfield and David Greenbaum, Presidents of Production, Film and Television, and Katie Goodson-Thomas, Head of Development & Production, Searchlight Pictures UK.
