James Blunt has shared a new single, “Beside You.” The song, produced by the Six, is the first listen from the musician’s forthcoming seventh album, Who We Used to Be, out Oct. 27 via Atlantic Records.

“It’s a bit of a celebration,” Blunt explained of the single in a statement. “An upbeat banger about finally being with the one you’ve been searching for your whole life.”

To record Who We Used to Be Blunt worked with a variety of producers, including Jonny Coffer, Red Triangle, Jack & Coke, and Steve Robson.

Juliet Mills, who starred in the 1970s sitcom “Nanny and the Professor” and played Jane Leeves’ mother on “Hot in Cleveland,” has been cast in a recurring role on “Grey’s Anatomy,” TheWrap can exclusively report. She’ll appear in at least three episodes, beginning Thursday.

Per ABC, the 81-year-old British actress plays Maxine, who “comes into the hospital with a friend, but surprisingly knows Jules from outside the hospital.” Jules, a surgical intern who first appeared in Season 19, is played by Adelaide Kain.

Mills also co-stars in Chris Pine’s upcoming directorial debut “Poolman” with Jennifer Jason Leigh, Danny DeVito and Annette Bening. In 2022, she developed and co-hosted “British Classics With Juliet Mills” on TCM. She recently starred in U.K. stage productions of Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Lady Vanishes” as the enigmatic Miss Froy and “Darker Shores” opposite her husband Maxwell Caulfield.

Earlier today, we got our hands on the full list of every new movie and TV show being added to Netflix next month. It’s an impressive offering, too, featuring originals like Project Power and the fifth season of Lucifer. But as is often the case, just as every new month brings us fresh additions, it also results in a lot of great titles leaving the service.

August is no different and along with revealing everything that’s being added, Netflix has also announced what we’ll be saying goodbye to in the coming weeks. Some of these just arrived on the platform quite recently, too, which makes their exit especially unfortunate. But unless it’s original content, not a whole lot lasts forever on Netflix and so, we’ll always have to come to terms with the fact that popular shows and movies could be removed at any time.

Fall is upon us, and so is Hulu’s list of every title coming and going from the streaming service in November.

Among the list of arriving titles is a new episode of Hulu’s original monthly anthology series, “Into the Dark.” November’s episode is called “Pilgrim,” and claims to be inspired by true events — in which a woman invites a bunch of Pilgrim re-enactors over for Thanksgiving dinner. But things get spooky when the “actors” refuse to break character.

Other new arrivals include Season 5 of “You’re the Worst,” described as a modern look at love, the complete first seasons of “Dollface,” about a young woman re-entering the world of women, “The Accident,” which begins with a deadly explosion at a construction site, and “Love Island: Australia,” an answer to the U.K. and U.S. versions of the beloved reality dating show.

On the big screen, McKenzie recently appeared in The Report alongside Adam Driver and Annette Benning. The Scott Z. Jessica Alba is getting real about what it’s really like for actors to film love scenes — and why she needs the help of tequila to do it.

In a recent interview on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast, Alba, 38, and her husband, Cash Warren, a film producer, discussed why it’s been helpful to have a partner “who understands” the Hollywood industry.

“What’s nice about having a partner who understands the business… is that he understands what it takes to do it,” Alba shared. “I’m working 16 hours a day, it’s not glamorous, it’s pretty intense.

The actress, 38, opened up about the topic on a podcast alongside husband Cash Warren, 40.

She cited two Hollywood actors she has worked with to illustrate the point, reports dailymail.co.uk

"I think Pierce Brosnan and Bruce Willis are very attractive gentlemen... but it's like, weird," said Alba, who worked alongside Brosnan in 2014's "Some Kind of Beautiful", and Willis in 2005's "Sin City".

The mother-of-three differentiated between a romantic encounter in one's personal life, and one on a film set in which "nothing about it is alone in a room", and can go on for 15-16 hours.

"When you're choosing to want to be with someone in that way... it's very intimate," Alba said.

"You're breathing on someone, it's all there, you're smelling the skin ... you wanna choose who you're doing that with,...

Netflix has confirmed that a slew of new original series will be debuting on the streaming service in May, including “The Break with Michelle Wolf,” who is fresh from her controversial stint as host of the White House correspondents dinner. There will also be new to Netflix seasons of some of your favorites from other networks, including the final episodes of “Scandal.” Likewise, there will be plenty of movies making their first Netflix appearances including the Oscar-winning “Coco.”

Of the new Netflix originals, several stand out as particularly binge-worthy, including the fourth season of “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” and the sophomore edition of the TV version of “Dear White People.” And there are two episodes of the new David Letterman talk show with guests Tina Fey and Howard Stern.

Spider-Man: Homecoming hit Blu-ray this past week, and while it’s worth picking up since the movie is fun and rewatchable, it also contains a solid selection of special features. Among the extras is a collection of deleted and extended scenes, and you can see that co-writer/director Jon Watts had no shortage of comic bits he could have added into his movie. If anything, there was too much as certain “deleted scenes” are compilations that were never meant to fit into the film directly like “Midtown News Final Segment” and “Mr. Harrington Lessons in Love" but …...

No matter if you prefer Marvel or DC, I think we can all agree that 2017 has thus far been an exceptionally great year for comic book movies. Having said that, I and many of you out there probably can’t wait to add each of them to our respective home video collections. In fact, one in particular that I’m especially looking forward to purchasing is that of Peter Parker’s first solo outing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Just yesterday, we came across a listing for Batman vs. Two-Face ahead of any official studio confirmation saying that the animated film is slated for an October release. Funnily enough, we’re now finding ourselves in a similar situation with Spidey. As it turns out, Australian retailer Jb Hi-Fi claims the hit film will come home on October 18.

In my prior life as a script reader, I certainly read a lot of bad scripts, but at times, an even more common occurrence was a script that seemed to do a great many things right, but somehow fell just short of being something you wanted to champion as a movie. As draining as the terrible scripts were, there’s something pure about clear-cut bad. It takes little effort to explain why they’re unfit.

The real challenges were the scripts that had kind of a decent premise, kind of an okay twist or two, and a lead character who wasn’t bad so much as he or she was just… there. The raw materials are there for what Could be a script. They just happen to be assembled in the least compelling way...

Lessons in Love (2014) - the UK title of Tom Vaughan's latest - went through two prior iterations for its appearance in Canadian (How To Make Love Like An Englishman) and Us (Some Kind of Beautiful) cinemas. Unfortunately, much like giving someone the same present for Christmas, Easter and their birthday, no matter how this rom-com is gift wrapped the resultant 99 minutes of your life will feel as hollow and wasted as receiving an empty box.

Earlier this month, Daniel Craig spoke out about his interpretation of 007, saying that his Bond "is not as sexist and misogynistic as [earlier incarnations]". Well, Pierce Brosnan doesn't think James Bond is a sexist. So there.

"I never thought of him like that," says Brosnan, speaking exclusively to Digital Spy. "I saw him as a solitary, enigmatic character."

But he does agree with Craig on the "very f**king lonely, great sadness" front - to an extent:

"I saw him as a fellow who carries a certain amount of pain and angst. Deep down as someone who's quite troubled, and solitary - [though] Ian Fleming really doesn't give you a lot to hang your hat on.

"There's a lovely sequence in [the books] where Bond is on a flight and there is terrible turbulence and he's shaking in his shoes, from turbulence. 'The drink, the drink, give me the drink'."

Pierce Brosnan has called a scene in his latest film, Lessons in Love "a highlight of [his] acting career". Which scene, you ask? Well, the one where Salma Hayek pretends to climax four times (see above).

Speaking to Digital Spy in honour of his new rom-com, Brosnan admitted it was very hard not to corpse during the shoot.

"I think we did about two or three takes. It was extremely funny," he said.

Saban Films has acquired the North American distribution rights to Mi-5 starring Kit Harington (“Game of Thrones,”, Testament Of Youth), Academy Award nominee Peter Firth (“Spooks”), Jennifer Ehle (Fifty Shades Of Gray, Zero Dark Thirty), Tuppence Middleton (“Sense 8”, Jupiter Ascending), and Elyes Gabel (“Scorpion”, A Most Violent Year). Mi-5 (known outside the Us as Spooks: The Greater Good) is based on the original BAFTA Award® winning BBC television series.

Series director Bharat Nalluri (Tsunami: The Aftermath, Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day) has also directed the screen adaption, which was written by the series writers Jonathan Brackley and Sam Vincent (“Humans”).

The film’s producers, Robert Ogden Barnum and Aaron L. Gilbert, announced a first quarter 2016 start date.

The film is a co-production with Fortitude International and Bron Studios, in association with CW Media Finance. Some Kind of Nonsense: Vaughan’s Unintentional Antithesis of the RomCom

Not long into Some Kind of Beautiful, the new film from director Tom Vaughan, a man best known for his 2008 Ashton Kutcher/Cameron Diaz film What Happens in Vegas, it becomes achingly clear that someone, somewhere pitched this film with intentions of crafting a romantic comedy. However, the film wasn’t painted in shades of either, and has the opposite effect of deadening emotional receptors. Staunchly filled with resolutely sturdy clichés in the hoary tradition of the aging lothario coming to uncertain terms with his playboy instinct and need for companionship, Vaughan and first time screenwriter Matthew Newman glide through this set-up with an icy dazedness, as if daring us to wade through its fretful yet uneventful schemes to an outcome prophesized from the moment its three leads converge.

Among the numerous festivals that take place during the month of July, Lollapalooza may be the historically richest. Having taken place off and on in different formats since 1991, the event series has succeeded in propelling a variety of artists into the mainstream spotlight. While superstar DJ/producer Kaskade may not necessarily be one of them, he does hail from the festival’s hometown of Chicago – and he played a set at this year’s installment that absolutely brought the house down.

The former Bond actor plays a Cambridge professor whose playboy lifestyle comes to an end when he gets his grad assistant Kate (Alba) pregnant.

Years later as his marriage falls apart, Kate calls in her sister (Hayek) to help take care of her new young son as she explores the single life.

How to Make Love Like an Englishman comes from director Tom Vaughan, best known for the comedies What Happens in Vegas and So Undercover.

Ben Palmer directed from a screenplay by Tess Morris about a woman who is mistaken for a blind date and goes along with it. Rory Kinnear and Olivia Williams round out the key cast.

Lisa Wilson is an accomplished and widely respect Hollywood veteran. She is a Partner and Co-Founder of The Solution Entertainment Group, and has been in international film distribution for nearly forty years. She has handled Academy Award Winner “Crash”, “The Tourist”, “Hugo” and “Arbitrage”. She serves on the board of the Independent Film & Television Alliance and is a current member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

Lisa talks about The Solution Entertainment Group, her full service international sales and financing company:

This is our third Afm. Berlin was my first market, almost four years ago. I had been in sales for almost four decades, working for other companies. My partner was a banker, and he was working in film financing. He had various experiences where he had gone to a sales company to sell a film, and then the sales person would leave in the middle of working with him. He was looking to start a company, but he wanted a partner that was in sales so that couldn’t happen to him again. And so we joined forces. We have a third partner – Craig Chapman – and we’re based on the Siren Lot in Hollywood. We’re very branded, and very strategic about what we bring to the market. We’re not looking to do a massive amount of product. We’re looking to do high quality product with real talent attached.

The new one now that we’re selling here is” Oppenheimer Strategy” with Richard Gere and shoots in January. It’s being directed by Israeli director Joseph Cedar, whose last two films were both in Cannes and were both nominated for best foreign film at the Academy Awards. That’s a really good example of what we’re looking to do.

How did you enter the business?

It was an accident. I had a temporary secretarial job with John Heyman, who is David Heyman’s father, which turned into a career in international distribution. I love it. It’s certainly challenging now, far more than it was in the DVD glory days. I still think if you have the right product, you can do well, because there’s an awful lot of wrong product.

What inspires you in your work?

For me it’s the material. We read everything ourselves, and we’re always looking for that ‘something special’. It has to sing to me. For better or for worse, what you see on the slate is my taste. I make no excuses for it. It’s nice to be able to do that.

This year sees him appear in no fewer than three movies: A Long Way Down, How To Make Love Like An Englishman and action thriller The November Man, which is out today in the Us.
