A Família Hathaways

I watched both seasons. My guess is the pitch was lets get an interracial Brady Bunch where they aren't really in a relationship. We can do aliens or ghosts? Ok, ghost's it is!

The show is funny, but too dang funny - not enough family moments. The obvious question that you have about the Prestons is never answered. Then, there is the New Orleans/voodoo backdrop. I'm not shocked that it was cancelled because it wasn't as bold as it should be. Still 7 stars for the comedy and Curtis Harris' character.

Okay, I wasn't sure what to think about this show. I am a 36 year old who enjoys family television when I don't need to analyze much, and for the nostalgia effect.

To start off, the setting is just bad. It takes place in a house connected to a bakery in New Orleans. The settings colors and atmosphere gives me a boring 60s retro kind of vibe. The props and effects are grossly generic, even for it's time.

If you are looking for good acting, you might as well skip this one. It's the pits. The character's expressions don't line up with their emotions. Also, mostly all the characters, except the little girl and ghost dad, are highly annoying in some fashion. A lot of the acting is very tense and feels forced.

Okay, with all the negative traits out of the way, it does possess some weirdly good qualities. I don't know if it has the same effect on others, but it gives me a calming/soothing sensation. When I end the day and wind down I usually play this show on Netflix. I am not sure why, but it relaxes me. I usually watch it until I sleep. It is one of the best shows for those who appreciate background noise from a TV to help them sleep. Very strange. Maybe it's the setting? I'm not sure. It is a good quality; to me anyway.

If you're looking for that perfect show for you and your little ones, this probably isn't it. It isn't that bad, but it isn't good either. Mediocre.

Seeing as this is a show for Children and the majority of reviews on here are being given by Adults... May I suggest the Adults watch the show for what it is "A CHILDRENS SHOW"..

I used to watch the show with my Nephew when he was younger and he loved it..

OK so I have watched the first 4 shows and this is exactly what Nick needed !! Its a family friendly show, and I couldn't be happier they mixed the races up.I have a blended family and now my kids can finally feel accepted as people on TV live like they do! Love the jokes, love the sentiment, the writing is exceptional.

Every actor pulls their weight on the show.The Teen girl played by Montana delivers the goods with her very real and natural ability and spot on comedic timing.The mother played by King is obviously a Broadway trained actress, she is fantastic and funny as ever.The two little kids are hysterical and get the jokes, and the dad ( Benymon) is a pro.

Some people just can't accept that were in 2013 and shows from the 90's are outdated.This show brings the funny !! A plus
