CAA said Wednesday that it has signed a long-term lease agreement to relocate its headquarters to Century City Center in 2026, when it will become an anchor tenant in a new, 37-story commercial tower across the street from its current building on Constellation Boulevard.
Speculation about the potential move started in September, following the announcement of CAA’s proposed acquisition of ICM Partners, which is going through the regulatory approval process. The new digs, which are within a block from the current CAA and ICM headquarters in Century City, would house the combined entity.
The tower, at 1950 Avenue of the Stars, is from Jmb Realty and designed by Johnson Fain. It will feature two acres of gardens and courtyards and being designed achieve Leed Platinum certification. It will be close to the under-construction Constellation/Century City Metro station.

Miranda Lambert is nominated three times at the Grammys coming up this Sunday, March 14. But even though she has been adored by the country music industry at large, winning ACM and CMA Awards hand over fist during the last dozen years, the Grammys have held her at a relative distance, only giving her two prizes out of 18 previous nominations. This year, however, there’s a chance she could sweep.

Mary Wilson, the celebrated singer, businesswoman and activist who co-founded the 1960s hit machine The Supremes as a 15-year-old Detroit teenager and was the group’s longest serving member, died Monday at her home in Henderson, Nevada. She was 76.
Her publicist confirmed the news to CBS on Monday night. The cause of death has not been disclosed.

Miranda Lambert‘s latest album “Wildcard” earned her an Acm Award nomination for Album of the Year. It’s her sixth bid in the category, and she has won all five of her previous bids, so she has claimed this prize for more albums than any other artist in history. Can she extend that record, or is there another wild card in this race she’ll need to watch out for.

Lambert previously won for “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” (2008), “Revolution” (2010), “Four the Record” (2012), “Platinum” (2015) and “The Weight of These Wings” (2017). Platinum Games is making a bold leap forward by self-publishing Project G.G.
Developer Platinum Games has revealed a new title called Project G.G. which will be the studio's first entirely self-published game.
“Unlike any of the games we’ve made so far, it’s going to be a 100 percent Platinum Games title," says director Hideki Kamiya via a press release. "For everything from its setting and characters, to its game design and story, to how it’s promoted–Platinum Games is in full control.”
Kamiya expands on the significance of the studio being able to publish their own project by explaining why that arrangement is important to him as a creator.
“As a creator, it’s hard not to think of my games as my children,” says Kamiya. "After all, it takes a lot of hard work to raise them up, and a lot of love,...

Legendary has closed a deal for Ryan and Andy Tohill to direct a reboot of the classic 1974 horror film “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” sources tell Variety.
The pic will be written by Chris Thomas Devlin with Bad Hombre’s Fede Alvarez and Rodolfo Sayagues producing through their overall deal with Legendary.
“The Tohill’s vision is exactly what the fans want,” Alvarez said in a statement. “It’s violent, exciting and so depraved that it will stay with you forever.”
The original 1974 Tobe Hooper movie followed two siblings and three of their friends en route to visit their grandfather’s grave in Texas, who end up falling victim to a family of cannibalistic psychopaths and must survive the terrors of Leatherface and his family.
What was at first considered a cult classic has grown into one of horror’s most iconic properties, spawning three sequels, including one that starred Matthew McConaughey and Renee Zellweger.

I don’t think anyone would mistake So You Think You Can Dance‘s 12th season as its strongest — aside from viewers who were trapped in some sort of Footloose-esque, no-grooving-allowed nightmare for its first 11.
But while the Great Stage-Vs.-Street/Jason Derulo-Vs.-Descriptive-Adjectives Experiment of 2015 lacked something in diversity (whatever happened to ballroom and disco?), gut-busting emotional concepts (what I wouldn’t have given for one routine on par with “Addiction Dance“) and insightful critique (Mary Murphy and Misty Copeland, I missed you!), I’d be lying if I said summer TV still wasn’t the better for it.
