Super Bowl LIX

What an extraordinary game this was! The Kansas City Chiefs tried for a three-peat win, or three in a row, a feat that still hasn't been reached in Super Bowl history. The Philadelphia Eagles helped to keep that from happening after facing the Chiefs in a rematch from Super Bowl 57 in 2023 in which the Eagles had lost. This time, they were victorious

At the end of the first two quarters, it looked like it was going to be an Eagles only scoring game as the Chiefs remained scoreless until deep into the third quarter. Then the Chiefs finally started getting some touchdowns, but this came after Mahomes was sacked for about the seventh time of the game and Travis Kelce dropped the ball for about a third time. Taylor Swift seemed more like a curse to the Chiefs this year than a godsend.

I was personally rather exhilarated to see the upset of the Chiefs finally. I was so sick of hearing about how great they are and Taylor Swift this and Taylor Swift that, who cares! They had their time in the spotlight, five Super Bowl appearances in six years. Now it's the Philadelphia Eagles time to celebrate for a while.

Super Bowl LIX was a true celebration of football, demonstrating the highest level of play and emotion.

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts demonstrated an outstanding game, Philadelphia's defense, led by coordinator Vic Fangio, showed a real master class, holding back one of the most powerful attacks in the league.

The game itself was full of bright moments and tension, keeping the spectators in constant suspense. Excellent organization of the event, an impressive show at halftime and a high level of sportsmanship made Super Bowl LIX an unforgettable event for all football fans.

Overall, Super Bowl LIX was a vivid confirmation of why football is one of the most exciting sports in the world.

Always been a life long "Philadelphia Eagles" fan and it was so special and memorable when they won their first "Super Bowl" back in 2018 with an upset over Brady and the Pats in "Super Bowl 52" now finally they win another one! And it was revenge on K. C. as the "Super Bowl 57" loss brought bitter memories. This time Patrick couldn't beat the Birds in the end. Speaking of Patrick Mahomes the QB was troubled all game as the D line was in his face, the defense would set the tone with 6 sacks, and they forced three turnovers, Sweat was a beast off the edge had 2.5 sacks, and rookie slot CB and birthday boy Cooper DeJean got a pick six! Wow the Chiefs were pushed around and dominated only with 23 total net at the half, it seemed as if the game was already over! The other birthday boy all world RB Saquon Barkley didn't have his usual day of over 100 rush yards only 57 yards on 25 carries, yet Jalen would ball out as Hurts stood in and stood tall and beat the blitz and won Super Bowl MVP with just fine stats 17/22 for 221 and 2 TD passes a beauty to Devonta Smith, and Hurts proved he's the duel threat as he also beat the Chiefs with his legs had 11 carries for 72 and 1TD(a push tush!) Total domination as the birds flew high as the Eagles are once again "Super Bowl" champs a delight and treat for all of their fans, as they even amazed us and everyone with the one sided blowout win! I feel the Eagles can start a run and get on a dynasty level as they can at least repeat or win some more Super Bowls, as with Hurts, Barkley, the O line and the pass rush from the D line they are tough to beat. Go Birds, Fly Eagles Fly!

This Super Bowl features the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. I was rooting for the Eagles and boy did they win! It was 0 for the Chiefs at first. I was thinking this was one of the more boring Super Bowls, because they were beaten so easily. I was glad to see that they at least got a score of 22. There was Gatorade dunking before the game was over!

Well, they knew it over anyway. The commercials started out good and I loved the Stitch one because you thought it was part of the show. The Dorito one with the aliens was great too. It seems like we get a bunch of big crossover commercials. This year was tons of food mascots like Chester Cheetah and the Jolly Green Giant. There were some serious heartwarming ones too. ***1/2.

This Super Bowl the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs, and along with it Kendrick Lamar headlining the Super Bowl along with a lot of surprises. Fun commercials & entertaining performances. I noticed they introduced a "pre halftime show" this time around for this Super Bowl with Lady Gaga playing the piano which I thought was excellent!

We then have a tremendous marching band leave a massive mark in the foundation of such an epic introduction to this face off, leading up to what we are here for. The game!

Now, the first half of the game had the eagles dominating but it was still too close to call & it was still fairly entertaining. But it all goes downhill from there after halftime, you would have thought the chiefs would have had some sort of fight in them but the eagles completely dominated them to the point that the chiefs looked like a college team.

Now the game may have been bad but what makes up for it? Kendrick Lamar's halftime Super Bowl show. His performance was a spectacle marvel feasting upon the eyes, using Sam Jackson to play Uncle Sam to be the voice of reason if you will, since the 2 obvious elephant in the room is that America hasn't been so kind to hip hop music "rap isn't music" is a saying of dinosaur talk. Kendrick Lamar expertly used a form of comedic satire to communicate with the audience that hiphop is a movement & his message resonated so much more than anything else in this Super Bowl, his performance alone I would rate a solid 8/10 it makes up for this Super Bowl. Then there's the 2nd obvious elephant in the room, the whole Drake/Kendrick beef that happened, with Kendrick brutally claiming Drake to be a pedophile with the hit song "not like us" causing many viewers on the fence wondering if he could even perform such a song over the content on such an occasion, rest assured without spoiling it, how he handles this situation is BEYOND expert leveled execution, because it's the 1 song we are all sitting on edge wondering if it will happen, how he handles introducing this song was creative & played with the audience. His performance had a conveying base storyline that wasn't afraid to be humorous & real, and my personal favorite part of his performance was when all the music turns off and he takes hip hop back to its roots, just rapping while the members behind him produce beats using their mouths! ITS BEAUTIFUL & homage to the culture of where hiphop came from. I'm focusing a lot on this halftime show but I have to, it's the massive magnifying glass that I think stood out the most for this Super Bowl! Kendrick Lamar did a phenomenal job!

So all in all, it's a great halftime show, solid commercials, a disappointing game, but when it's all wrapped up, it was entertaining, & at least the Eagles took the win, I wanted them to win anyways but I always value a great game.
