I love the show. I love getting into her life and seeing how she functions as well as her family. I loved learning things about TS that I never knew before like the fact that ticcon is a thing or how botox can help with motor tics. I am not using this as a primary educational source but it's helped me have insight to what SHE struggles with.
I think the only issue the show has is the timing and pacing. It seems kinda thrown together and all over the place. Sometimes it feels like it's just hopping to different events in her life instead of having a cohesive flow/layout. But i'm obsessed with it. It sucks Baylen's siblings feel left out but that's the parents fault too, not just hers. Feel as some of you (especially with ppl in your lives with TS) assume everyone with TS should act the way YOU expect them to. I've followed Baylen on Tiktok, her tics may seem exaggerated but they aren't. You don't know her or her family aside from what you've seen. Who are you to say she's faking it? She's bringing awareness to HER struggles with TS. We learn in the show that not everyone experiences TS the same, everyone's tics are different, certain people have more severe cases (like baylen) and others don't.
I just don't think bad reviews should be given because you assume something about someone's life or disability that isn't true.
Good show, just wish it wasn't all over the place.
