Tucker Carlson has made some surprising comments about his former employer, Fox News.
The former Fox News host admitted that the network pushes “propaganda” that is aimed at elderly viewers. He also criticized Trump‘s stance on the Israel-Iran conflict, which the President has already responded to.
While speaking on the Bannon’s War Room podcast, Carlson suggested that Fox News is pushing an agenda in the political world.

“What they’re doing is what they always do, which is just turning up the propaganda hose to full blast and just trying to, you know, knock elderly Fox viewers off their feet and make them submit to where you want them to,” he said.

Donald Trump responded to Tucker Carlson’s criticism of the administration’s support of Israeli strikes on Iran, with the president getting in a dig at the media personality’s post-Fox News career.
“I don’t know what Tucker Carlson is saying,” Trump said, as he attended the G7 summit in Canada on Monday. “Let him go get a television network and say it so that people listen.”
Later, Trump posted on Truth Social, “Somebody please explain to kooky Tucker Carlson that, ‘Iran Can Not Have A Nuclear Weapon!'”
Since Israel launched its attacks on Iran, Carlson, a Trump supporter, has warned of U.S. involvement, underscoring a split in the Maga movement.
On Steve Bannon’s War Room podcast earlier Monday, Carlson said that he actually does “really love Trump. He is a deeply humane, kind person, and I am saying this because I am really afraid...

War Room podcast host Steve Bannon revealed that Elon Musk attacked Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent “like a rugby player” during a physical altercation in the White House two months ago.
The fight occurred in mid-April after Musk and Bessent pitched different plans for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to President Donald Trump in the Oval Office.
In the end, Trump supported Bessent’s choice, Bannon told The Washington Post.
The two men left the meeting and started insulting each other within earshot of the president’s office, the former White House strategist mentioned to the outlet.
“Scott said, ‘You’re a fraud. You’re a total fraud,'” he added, referencing Musk’s failed effort to cut $1 trillion in federal spending.
The verbal altercation reportedly turned physical when the billionaire rammed his shoulder into Bessent’s rib cage “like a rugby player,” causing the Treasury secretary to fight back, Bannon claimed.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell stated during an interview that he wanted to bring a pillow to his defamation trial in order to contradict an attorney who claimed his pillows are not “lumpy.”
Lindell was scheduled to appear in Denver federal court on Monday morning as part of a defamation lawsuit filed by former Dominion Voting Systems employee Eric Coomer.
Coomer and Dominion both assert that the MyPillow CEO defamed them by promoting false accusations that Dominion machines helped rig the 2020 presidential election against Donald Trump.
During an appearance on Steve Bannon’s War Room podcast during the weekend, Lindell recalled a prior discussion with an attorney in the case in which one attorney supposedly called the CEO’s pillows “lumpy.”
“MyPillow’s being sued, everybody,” he stated during the interview.
“By the way, Steve, this is the same lawyer that, in the deposition, called my pillows lumpy,” he told Bannon.

Kash Patel is set to become the latest of President Donald Trump‘s unfit and unqualified loyalists confirmed for a leadership role in Washington, with Senate Republicans ready and willing to install the QAnon promoter and 2020 election denier as the next director of the FBI. Steve Bannon, former White House strategist and host of the War Room podcast, has launched a scathing attack on billionaire Elon Musk, pledging to diminish his influence in the upcoming Trump administration.
“I will have Elon Musk run out of here by Inauguration Day,” Bannon told Italian daily Corriere della Sera, according to excerpts translated by Breitbart. “He will not have a blue pass to the White House… he will be like any other person.”
Bannon’s ire stems largely from Musk’s defense of H1-b visas, which allow skilled foreign workers into the U.S., a stance supported by President-elect Donald Trump.
“This thing of the H-1B visas, it’s about the entire immigration system being gamed by the tech overlords,” Bannon said, criticizing Musk and other tech leaders for exploiting the system. He also accused Musk of prioritizing wealth accumulation, saying, “[Musk] will do anything to make...

All five living presidents – Joe Biden, Donald Trump, Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton— were reunited on Jan. 9 to honor former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral in the Washington National Cathedral. The event saw civility between political foes. Trump and Obama were even seen laughing during a friendly exchange.
But former Trump White House adviser Steve Bannon claimed that Bush snubbed Trump.
On his political podcast, WarRoom, Bannon called Bush “the worst president in the history of the country.”
“Bush walked past Trump, the man fixing the mess he created,” Bannon said. “This is who they are — arrogant, out-of-touch elites.”
Obama was also not spared on the podcast, even though Trump and Obama put their clashing politics aside.

Wow, November got here fast. This year’s election cycle seemed shorter than usual. The presidential candidates were all but a foregone conclusion, until they weren’t. Now with election season finally here, things continue to be tense. Are smooth transitions between administrations a thing of the past, or has the fever from last cycle broken?
Despite the strange reality we live in now, politics have always been fertile ground for nerve-fraying anxiety. Steve Bannon, the former film producer and Trump strategist turned popular podcaster on the right, was released earlier today from federal prison after serving a four-month sentence for contempt of Congress.
Bannon was found guilty in 2022 to two counts of contempt of Congress, as he refused to comply with a subpoena issued by the January 6th Committee. After he exhausted his appeals, he reported to a federal correctional facility in Danbury, Ct in July.
After his release, Bannon gave an interview to The New York Times before taping his podcast, War Room.
“The four months in federal prison didn’t break me, it empowered me,” Bannon said on the podcast. “I am more focused and more energized than I have ever been in my entire life, and I can see clearly just like in 2016 and 2020 exactly what is going on here and what we have to do to defeat it.

The Forge, a spin-off of War Room, is a faith-based drama about finding purpose through faith and prayer. Characters from War Room, like Tony and Elizabeth, appear in The Forge, linking the two stories together. Despite being a spin-off, The Forge has received positive reviews and strong box office numbers compared to War Room.
Released theatrically on August 23, 2024, The Forge is an uplifting faith-based drama with a positive message about righting past wrongs and starting life anew. Directed by Alex Kendrick from a screenplay he wrote with his brother Stephen Kendrick, the inspirational story concerns Isaiah Wright (Aspen Kennedy), a wayward teenager lacking direction. When he is forced to get a job or move out of his childhood home, Isaiah finds newfound hope in unlikely places.

The box office numbers are starting to roll in, and the weekend gross for the controversial reboot of The Crow could not be worse. At the moment, ComScore has the film in eighth place for the weekend, with a $4.6 million gross and a shocking per-screen average of just over $1.6k. No matter how bad the box office outlook for the movie was in the lead-up to its opening weekend, no one thought it would crash and burn this badly. In our predictions, we figured it would open with $7 million and at least finish in the top 5, but it was not meant to be.

After a blip that allowed another film sell some tickets, “Deadpool & Wolverine” returned to the top of box office charts in its fifth weekend of release. Marvel’s superhero adventure towered over the (albeit anemic) competition as two newcomers, “The Crow” and “Blink Twice,” misfired in their debuts.
Director Zoe Kravitz’s twisted thriller “Blink Twice” led among new releases but faltered in fourth place with $7.3 million from 3,067 theaters. Meanwhile, Lionsgate’s R-rated reboot of “The Crow,” starring Bill Skarsgård as a murdered musician who is resurrected to avenge the deaths of himself and his fiancee, bombed with $4.6 million from 2,752 theaters to open in eighth place. Critics were fonder of “Blink Twice” compared to “The Crow” — the former landed a 79% on Rotten Tomatoes while the latter was saddled with a 20% “rotten” score — while audiences were mixed, giving both films a “B-” grade on CinemaScore. Former White House aide Steve Bannon is set to start his prison sentence next week after Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts denied his effort to stay free as he appeals his conviction.
In July 2022, Bannon was found guilty of two counts of contempt of Congress for refusing to give documents to the House Select Committee on the U.S. Capitol attack after he was subpoenaed.
He was sentenced in October 2022 to four months in prison.
In early June, federal Judge Carl Nichols ordered him to report to the federal correctional institution in Danbury, Connecticut, which houses violent criminals, by July 1 to serve his sentence.
Roberts had rejected the White House aide’s appeal on June 28.
“The application for release pending appeal presented to The Chief Justice and by him referred to the Court is denied,” the court stated in his one-sentence order.

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colorado) advocated for morals in the nation and schools and for displaying the Ten Commandments in public school classrooms.
However, Boebert’s moralizing has been criticized, as her own ethical missteps have been scrutinized.
Boebert praised Louisiana’s controversial new law, signed by Gov. Jeff Landry (R-Louisiana), which mandates the display of the Ten Commandments in public school classrooms. “This is something we need throughout our nation because we need morals back in our nation, back in our schools,” she declared in a recent appearance on Steve Bannon‘s War Room podcast.
Boebert asserted, “Listed in the Ten Commandments, thou shall not steal. Maybe the left and some of these politicians are having a meltdown over having that right there listed in our classrooms, thou shall not steal, because government hates competition. And they don’t want our children to realize that’s something you shouldn’t be doing.

Federal Judge Carl Nichols has ordered former Trump adviser Steve Bannon to report to prison by July 1 to serve his four-month contempt of Congress sentence.
In July 2022, Bannon was found guilty on two counts of contempt of Congress for refusing to turn over documents to the House Select Committee on the Jan. 6 Attack after being subpoenaed.
He had been sentenced in October 2022 to four months behind bars, the same sentence that another ex-Trump adviser, Peter Navarro, who also declined to comply with a Jan. 6 Committee subpoena, is now serving.
“The defendant chose allegiance to Donald Trump over compliance with the law,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Molly Gaston told jurors during closing arguments in 2022.
Bannon’s sentence had been put on hold pending appeal, and his lawyers made their case to a three-judge federal appeals court panel in November 2023.

Creator-owned streaming service Nebula has snagged a video content deal with Spotify.
That deal will bring content from some of Nebula’s 100+ education-oriented creators to the Spotify for Podcasters hub, which currently offers more than 2.5 million watchable episodes of podcasts. Video content has been a major focus for Spotify in its quest to outdo other podcast-offering platforms; it’s made several high-profile (and high-dollar-amount) deals for video podcasts, including its $100 million drop on The Joe Rogan Experience.
Nebula, meanwhile, was founded in 2019 by CEO Dave Wiskus as a “thoughtful expansion pack for YouTube” where participating creators earn revenue from views and get an ownership stake in the platform.
From their partnership, Spotify will get an opening slate of content from YouTubers including CinemaWins, Charles Cornell, Hello Future Me, Captain Midnight, Tale Foundry, Game Makers ToolKit, Todd in the Shadows, Adam Neely, The Closer Look, Fd Signifier, and Kat Blaque.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) shot back at Fox News after columnist Liz Peek wrote an op-ed in which she called the Georgia representative an “idiot.”
“It’s high time someone in the Republican Party told Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene to turn all that bombastic self-serving showmanship and drama queen energy on Democrats and stop trying to defeat her own party,” Peek wrote in her op-ed, which was titled, “Marjorie Taylor Greene is an idiot. She is trying to wreck the GOP.”
Peek noted that the representative “would rather burn down the House, metaphorically speaking, than work towards the greater good.”
She added, “The greater good, unless she and her fellow discontents in Congress have forgotten, is defeating Joe Biden in November.”
She later mentioned in her op-ed that “the internal squabbles of the party” must end.

MyPillow is facing a court-ordered eviction from a warehouse in Minnesota, but the company’s controversial CEO, Mike Lindell, insisted that they are still doing well financially.
The news comes after the CEO claimed he had been “canceled” by Fox News. Lindell gained national prominence for supporting former President Donald Trump‘s false claims of a “rigged” election.
Lindell argued that this eviction is just a formality related to a mutual agreement between himself and the warehouse’s owner to vacate this property, which he stated was last used by MyPillow in spring 2023.
He said that MyPillow subleased the space to a candy company in 2023 and had planned on subleasing it to a sugar beet company this year. However, the sugar beet company reneged on the contract at the last minute, he claimed, which left the MyPillow CEO and the warehouse owner “stranded.”

Jayson Boebert, the estranged husband of Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colorado), was arrested for allegedly assaulting their son, Tyler Boebert.
A January 9 police report stated that Jayson started fighting with his son after he got home from a bar at about 1:00 a.m. He noticed that his infant grandson was asleep in a laundry basket filled with clothes.
Tyler told police that his dad, who spoke with a slurred speech, began hitting his legs and attempted to seize his phone.
After he got a hold of the phone, Jayson reportedly tossed it. He then shoved his son while putting his thumb in his mouth.
According to the police report, Tyler believed that his father was going to pull out one of his teeth.
The report also claimed that Jayson then pushed a woman, the manager of a New Castle bar, who drove him home and tried to break the fight up.

Controversial MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell claimed that Fox News has “canceled” his company after discovering that the network had stopped airing the company’s TV advertisements.
On January 12, Lindell announced that Fox News had stopped running his ubiquitous MyPillow ads on former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon‘s podcast, War Room.
“As you know, Steve, ever since I’ve been speaking out about our election platforms January of ’21, they’ve been attacking my company, MyPillow, with cancel culture, the box stores, the shopping channels and now Fox News,” Lindell shared.
“Fox News has canceled MyPillow, and I don’t have the reasons why yet,” Lindell declared. “I can only say, ‘Well the caucuses are coming on Monday. They know my brand is with great President Donald Trump.'”
“Maybe it’s because I brought Lou Dobbs over to my Lindell-tv network this week,” the CEO suggested. “But everything is just very alarming and suspicious.

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colorado) blamed Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Barbra Streisand for her decision to switch districts and accused them of attempting to influence the outcome of the congressional race with donations to her Democratic opponent, Adam Frisch.
Boebert made these claims in an interview on Steve Bannon‘s War Room podcast and emphasized that her move from Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District to the 4th Congressional District was driven by her commitment to defend and advance conservative principles.
In the interview, Boebert asserted the need for a strong conservative voice in her new district and expressed her determination to counter the alleged influence of Hollywood elites. She claimed that nearly $10 million had been funneled into her current district in an effort to “purchase” the seat, and added that the Colorado 3rd District was not for sale.

When an independent film becomes as commercially successful as Sound of Freedom, which has presently grossed nearly $215 million at the worldwide box office against a production cost of less than $15 million, the film’s director and star typically become hot properties in Hollywood.
Indeed, in the case of Sound of Freedom, it would be reasonable to assume that the film’s director, Alejandro Monteverde, and star, Jim Caviezel, would be courted by various Hollywood studios to direct and star in big-budget studio films.
However, none of the typical rules of Hollywood seem to apply to Sound of Freedom, which has seemingly had a negligible effect on the careers of the film’s principals, especially Caviezel, for whom the success of Sound of Freedom has, if anything, only exacerbated Caviezel’s prolonged estrangement from Hollywood.

“Sound of Freedom” is the biggest success story of the summer outside of “Barbenheimer,” with $182 million in box office for the child-trafficking thriller — but its director isn’t taking part in the spoils.
Alejandro Gómez Monteverde sold his back-end participation to get the film finished, which means the filmmaker didn’t get rich off the stunning theatrical success.
“Like any independent film, we ran out of money,” Monteverde told TheWrap. “I decided to sell my points to the producers so we could finish the picture.”
“I don’t even want to think about what those points might be worth,” he added.
The movie took a challenging path to the box office. Produced in 2018 by Sentient Entertainment (which also produced “Map to the Stars” and “Taken”), the picture ended up in limbo after initial distributor Fox Latin America was purchased by Disney. Searchlight Pictures’ “Theater Camp” is a delightfully fun look at the wacky world of youth theater camps that draws inspiration from some of the best documentary features. “‘Metallica Some Kind of Monster’ or ‘War Room’ [was] a huge influence on us,” codirector Nick Lieberman told TheWrap. “Frederick Wiseman’s ‘Salesman,’ those movies all have moments that are some of my favorite funniest moments in movies. The challenge was how can you create that feeling, or create that spirit or write to that spirit?”
Ben Platt and Noah Galvin play two of the teachers working with the camp’s budding actors. They also worked on the film’s original songs (with Galvin also acting as cowriter on the script). “This movie is an amalgam of all of us,” Galvin said. “The characters we play are little scrapbooks of all of the teachers and theater people...

Update, 2:20Pm: Disney/Lucasfilm’s Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny officially wins Tuesday with $11.698M over Sound of Freedom‘s reported $11.5M. Monday revised on Dial of Destiny was $11.7M, which means business was even on July 4th; and that’s solid for any tentpole on that holiday. 5-day on Dial of Destiny is $83.7M.
Previous: Angels Studios’ Jim Caviezel thriller Sound of Freedom, came on strong Tuesday and gave Disney/Lucasfilm’s Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny a run for its money at the domestic box office. However, until actuals are reported, it remains to be seen who won on July 4th, with both distributors reporting $11.5 million.
Rival distributors off their own calculations see Sound of Freedom as a clear No. 2 in its opening yesterday with $11M at 2,634 theaters, with Indy winning the day.
Nonetheless, all industry eyes are watching the anomaly of this...
