Review of The Riff

The Riff (2000)
10/10
Nia Peeples more beautiful than ever
14 March 2005
As Ms Peeples ages, her beauty is maturing and she is rapidly becoming one of the most attractive and accomplished leading ladies of the industry. The plot is interesting enough to keep you watching and intricate enough to keep you guessing. The music is smooth and mellow. For those who love smooth jazz, Bob Baldwin and Joe McBride on keyboard and Marion Meadows on sax contribute to a soundtrack which is compelling and sweet. I loved this movie. It is a refreshing change from action and chases and guns. The New Orleans locations gave the story a feel and look of authenticity which also contributes to the jazz atmosphere. A couple of intriguing plot twists at the end keep you guessing until the last scene.
