I usually try to find some redeeming quality about a movie before I give it a 1. well I tried, I looked low and I looked hard , and just couldn't find anything,,, poor direction,, awful acting,, music sounded disjointed,, no scantily clad ladies,, no plot,, the one thing I thought before watching this was that the movie would have a decent backdrop of NYC.. and maybe it would have an urban gritty feel to it,, quick paced,, tell a good story,, well quite frankly if Charles Dickens would be alive and asked me what I thought I would tell him quite frankly sir it wasn't what I had hoped for.... excuse the "Great Expectations" pun.. but yea this is one movie I will put near the bottom of my barrel,, right above Jane Eyre, Man with a Gun ,, and the lowest of the low,, Uwe Lommel's Black Dahlia.
