the first virtue - extraordinary courage of the director. the second - the acting. like each film by Alexandru Tatos, its theme is the truth behind the regime masks. and in this case, the truth of village life. far to be a moral lesson, like many films of period, it is admirable work of nuances, it impress and remembers the rules of a dictatorship in its details. a film about roots of evil, honest ,fresh, ironic view about lies and improvisation of Romanian Communism. for a part of its viewers , it could be a kind of revelation. and it is correct that - it represents a testimony. or good occasion for remember. not exactly characters types but the laws of a period.
