Mammooty and Purnima are happily married with a child. Rohini comes into their lives as a destitute they meet on the train . Her BF is Ratheesh who is in search of a job . He joins his friends very close to Mamooty's house. One day when Purnima and Mammooty are returning by scooter , the boys tease her and she is kidnapped and violated by them . Soman is Purnima's long lost brother . They were separated in childhood and she was sent to an orphanage . He is often earning money by giving false evidence in courts. He gives evidence against Purnima saying she is a street walker and is paid by the rich boys' father. A lot of twists and sad turnings take place . Purnima commits suicide .
